Breda was so great! My girlfriend and I were in Dublin for nine days and her apartment was exactly what we were looking for. Everything was just how it looks in the pictures and was a great space for two people. She had everything cleaned for us and made check in very easy as she was very accommodating.
We did a lot of our own cooking and she had plenty of supplies for us as far as kitchenware and basic things like olive oil, salt, pepper, and some other things like hot chocolate mix. She also provided information on the bus (literally across the street) that went into the city center and local places to eat.
Overall it was a fantastic experience!
Breda was a fantastic host. She gave us directions to the flat, met us there to show us the ropes and even had in a few supplies for us - even things like sticky tape and plastic bags were appreciated. The flat was exactly as shown and described and in a wonderful listed building (an old convent). The proximity to the luas was also a plus as that took us into Dublin and connected to the DART which is a great way to see Dublin and surrounds.
It was a great pleasure to meet Breda, she was the nicest host : full of carefulness, giving us a lot of good advice...
The apartment was perfect for a lesurely tour of Dublin. You've got all you need, at the heart of a lovely district.
Do not hesitate : if you have to spend one week in Dublin city, just go to Breda's home!
This is a perfect spot , safe. Near the red Luas line , coffee shop , amazing bakery , and grocery near by , cool landmark Kilmainham jail nearby , I liked having a washer / dryer, wifi was super convenient , cooking some meals ourselves was great and saved us some money , and of course Breda the host is a super lady , would stay here again for sure .
Breda has been an excellent host always ready to help us in anything we might have needed. The apartment is really nice and quiet in a very good location. Excellent communication with the centre of town with both LUAS and BUS. We had a great time in Dublin. Thank you.
Highest recommendation for this apartment and host! I spent a very happy three weeks in this beautiful, comfortable apartment. It is in an impressive building in a lovely part of the city, and it provides the ideal base for a stay in Dublin, at a great price. It has all the facilities you could need (including a fine batch of leaflets/guides etc for attractions in Dublin and beyond) and it is so good to have the independence of being self-catering. It couldn't be better connected to the city centre (bus stops literally outside the front door) and there are many things to discover within walking distance. Five stars for apartment, host, and city!
