The Space

The space is cozy, in a great historic neighborhood on the edge of downtown, near the University of Arizona and I-10.

There are hiking trails all around that lead around "A Mountain", Tumamac Hill, and down Congress which is the main street downtown.

Guest Access

Guests will have access to washer/dryer, off street parking, large kitchen area, huge patio to barbque, outdoor fireplace to enjoy the evening city lights. Crib and couch available for little ones.

Interaction with Guests

Owner is available to share history of Tucson or orientation to the neighborhood as desired by guest.

The Neighborhood

The very oldest part of Tucson was the Presidio, or "lookout", (now called "A" Mountain) for the Apaches, the army, the missionaries, the explorers, the conquistadores, and all who came through the "Old Pueblo". Our place enjoys this perspective of the lookout in the heart of Tucson.

Getting Around

The trolley will stop nearby in a few months. We are in walking distance from downtown, with buses to all parts of Tucson. There is ample off street parking. There is close proximity to I-10, the U of A, and about 20 minutes from Tucson International Airport.

Other Things to Note

There is a 2 hour audio tour of the history of Tucson with 100 photos of historic homes and locations of the Arizona Territory and the early Tucson Pioneers.
