Tucked off the banks of the legendary Williamson River, The Waterwheel Cabin & Guide Room/Family Retreat is a family-friendly cabin designed for outdoor adventure and unplugged connection. Located at Waterwheel Campground, this cozy retreat offers the perfect balance of peaceful seclusion and easy access to Oregon’s most iconic destinations. Whether you’re casting a line in one of the most respected fly fishing waters or exploring the national wonder of Crater Lake, this cabin is your base camp.

The space
This unique log cabin apartment above the Waterwheel Campground is a unique gathering place to add onto a family RV gathering or a great base camp for your fly fishing adventures. With a beautiful view over the campground and river and the extra space and private access is awesome! This apartment has a private front and rear access, attached yard and dog door, laundry and inside dining for 6 at the dining table + 4 at the game table along with a covered deck space with outside dining for 8 people.

Downstairs in the guide/family room and you have a pull out queen bed and a pullout full size bed as well as the laundry room and a mini bar. Upstairs you will find a private bedroom with a queen bed and a queen daybed, full bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen, dining room and living room with couch and TV. This is a great place to relax, play games or can serve as your fly fishing headquarters with great views and access!

Guest access
Waterwheel Cabin guests will have private access to the lower guide/family room and laundry room and the entire upstairs and covered deck. The lower area opens up to a yard shared with the office/store for our campground but still remains very quiet and private. As a guest at the Waterwheel cabin you will have access the entire campground which includes river access for fishing and kayaking, the boat dock, a playground for kids, communal fire pit and picnic tables and all our facilities on property.

Other things to note
Guests will also have access to campground amenities like additional laundry, showers, bathrooms, lounging at the river, the communal fire pit and dog areas.
