The Space

A private room located in a secluded peaceful country setting on a 10 acre coffee and fruit farm. You have access to the SHARED: bathroom, kitchen with adjoining lanai for dining and leisure, and washer/dryer laundry facility next to an outdoor shower. A wonderful place to relax, explore from, and enjoy the real Hawai'i!

Guest Access

Enjoy fresh fruit samples when in season from our many fruit trees including mango, banana, star fruit, papaya and more. FREE Internet WI-FI (LINKSYS no password required) is included as well as parking for one vehicle.

Interaction with Guests

The Managers live on the property and will be happy to help with any questions, suggestions, ideas, or directions to local attractions. They will always be considerate of your privacy and space during your stay.

The Neighborhood

Centrally located near many attractions including Kealakekua Bay/Captain Cook Monument, National Historical Park Pu'uhonua O Honaunau (Place of Refuge), Two Step, St. Benedict's Catholic Church aka "Painted Church", Paleaku Peace Sanctuary/Botanical Gardens, and Ho'okena Beach Park; yet only 30 minutes from Kailua-Kona town. There are many bays and beaches in which to swim/snorkel and get lucky to swim with the dolphins and turtles! During whale season you can enjoy watching their behavior from many of the close local areas as well. You can fill your days with many wonderful sites including Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and Mauna Kea Observatory; most all of this island can be reached within a couple of hours from the farm.

Getting Around

Parking is free on the property and we strongly encourage a car rental as most attractions are not within comfortable walking distance. As of May 1, 2015, we do not have a car rental available. We will update this posting should that option change in the future.

Other Things to Note

It is a tropical climate, so we recommend insect repellent for your comfort, as well as sun protection to minimize exposure.

House Rules

NO CHECK-INS AFTER 8:00 PM. We are a non-smoking farm and emphasize QUIET HOURS from 9:00pm to 8:00am with NO KITCHEN, LANAI, OR OUTSIDE ACTIVITY AFTER 9:00PM in consideration of other guests and our neighbors. We are located on a 10 acre coffee and fruit farm with tropical climate and pests that thrive in those conditions. So as well as being thoughtful of others who share the facilities, it is imperative to clean up after every meal. Also, NO FOOD OR BEVERAGES in your room; drinking water is acceptable. Laundry hours are from 8:00am to 7:00pm, and laundry must be completed by 7:00pm. You will be asked to sign a Rental Agreement upon check-in.
