Your room has a queen sized bed with a view of Camels Hump mountain - along with your own bathroom Our home is close to many hiking trails, local breweries, ski areas; only 10 minutes from good restaurants in Richmond; and 30 min. from Burlington
Your bedroom is across the hall from ours with your bathroom next door. We have a comfortable living and dining room area that you are welcome to share with us. You can also use our refrigerator and help yourselves to tea or fruit.
We have wireless internet service in our home. In the town of Richmond ( located about 8 miles from us) there are a few nice restaurants and a grocery store; and Burlington is only a 30 minute drive from us. We love serving breakfast to our guests; or leaving some fruit and cereal out in the morning that you could help yourselves to - whichever you prefer.
Interaction with Guests
If you are here on the weekend there would probably be a fair amount of interaction - especially in the common areas of the house. We enjoy talking to our guests - but, if you would like some privacy we will respect that.
There are a lot of beautiful roads to walk on in our neighborhood. We are on a dead end road in the woods - so, it is very quiet. Only about 3 miles to the trail head of Camel's Hump; and 1.5 miles from the village of Huntington.

During our first stay in Vermont, we had the pleasure of staying with Pam and Bruce in Huntington. They were respectful and gracious hosts, and the accommodations were just as advertised. Pam & Bruce provided us with great suggestions for local sights & activities, and prepared an excellent breakfast with homegrown ingredients to start the day. We would certainly recommend them to others looking for a B&B in the area!
We were very happy with our first airbnb experience in Huntington, VT! The communication from our hosts were great from the beginning to the end. We were treated like friends and that was what we were hoping for. The place was better than it was described and we were pleasantly surprised. The location was secluded and the fall colors were vibrant even though we might be a week late for its peak season. Definitely a great place to visit for foliage and hiking to Camels Hump!
It's a great place for nature lovers and a nice place to get away from your busy life for couple days. Pam and Bruce were kind, warm, and they made suggestions to us as where to sightsee which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a great first time experience!
We stayed here for a wedding taking place nearby and it worked out perfectly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Pam made us a nice breakfast that we ate on their deck with a quintessential Vermont view. Pam was helpful and personable and we had a nice chat with her over breakfast. Her spirit of sharing resources was both appreciated and inspiring.
Pam a été une hôte extraordinaire. La nourriture servie au petit déjeuner était bonne, locale et santé. La chambre était confortable et la maison située dans un décor de rêve. Merci Pam!
Pam and Bruce were engaging hosts; sitting with us as we had morning breakfasts which Bruce prepared. They were very considerate of dietary needs (no eggs!) which was so appreciated! Their home is nestled in a lovely spot with wonderful walking views of the mountains. We felt comfortable and at ease with our hosts and with sharing their home.
We are a friendly, down to earth couple in our mid-50's. When we are at home we enjoy reading, watching movies, cooking and going for walks. We are new at hosting - but, are looking forward to sharing our home with others. We hope you will feel comfortable and at home in our space.
