This colorful, art-inspired guesthouse sits in a fully separate, fenced backyard divided from the main home for privacy. Enjoy a pet-friendly yard, private hot tub, games, TV, fast WiFi, plus your own entrance/driveway. Minutes from NoDa, Plaza Midwood, and about 15 minutes to Uptown Charlotte. Trains pass by at times; white noise machine and earplugs are provided.

The space
This colorful, private guesthouse is a fully separate ADU located behind the main home, with its own private entrance, dedicated parking, and a completely fenced backyard. While the main house is on the property, the guesthouse outdoor space is divided by fencing and privacy screens to create a comfortable and secluded experience for guests.

Inside, the space is compact yet thoughtfully designed with a vibrant NoDa Arts–inspired feel. The open layout includes a cozy sleeping area, a comfortable seating space, and a TV for relaxing after a day exploring Charlotte. Fast WiFi and games make it easy to unwind or stay connected.

The kitchenette is equipped with essentials for simple meals and coffee at home, and the bathroom is clean, functional, and designed for convenience. Outdoors, guests can enjoy a private hot tub (with privacy screens available), seating area, and a fully fenced yard that’s ideal for pets.

Please note: train tracks run behind the property and trains can be heard at times. White noise machines and earplugs are provided, and most guests find the sound manageable.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the entire private guesthouse, including a private entrance, dedicated driveway parking, and a fully fenced backyard exclusive to the guesthouse. The hot tub and outdoor seating area are for guesthouse use and screened for privacy. Pets are welcome with an additional pet fee. Please include the correct number of guests on your reservation and notify us in advance of any visitors. Access is limited to registered guests only.

Other things to note
This guesthouse is located on the same property as the main home but sits in a fully separate, fenced backyard with privacy screens for outdoor areas. The primary sleeping area is in a loft accessed by a ladder with a 300 lb weight limit and guests should be comfortable climbing up and down. There is also a pull out couch available if needed. The space is urban and near active rail lines and trains pass behind the property occasionally and can be heard. Noise sensitivity varies by guest so white noise machines and earplugs are provided. Exterior security cameras are present on the main home and shared outdoor areas for safety only and there are no cameras inside the guesthouse or private spaces. As with any outdoor space occasional leaves, insects, or wildlife may be present. The hot tub is available weather permitting and guests use it at their own risk. One well behaved pet is allowed per stay with a $45 pet fee. Pets must be cleaned up after in the yard, are not allowed on furniture or bedding, may not enter the hot tub, and should be crated if left unattended. Guests may be responsible for any excessive cleaning or damage caused by pets.

Our friendly hound dog lives in the primary residence and may occasionally howl (as hounds tend to do), but he is fully separated from the guest space by a fenced backyard. He loves people, and we do our best to keep him inside while guests are present to minimize any disruption.
