This lovely studio apartment is located right in the heart of Montreal. Just steps away from McGill's campus, it is a great location for visiting or prospective students. Mont Royal is just a couple blocks away and makes for a wonderful stroll. Both grocery stores and a major shopping centre (Eaton Centre) are within 5 blocks, along with the green line metro station which will enable you to get to most attractions. The major bar streets are all with in walking distance: St Laurent (10min), St Denis (15min), Crescent (20min). There is a bixi station at the end of the street where you can rent bikes.
As far as the apartment itself goes, its a cute little apartment with a bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom. There is also an inflatable mattress if extra guests are joining. The apartment has a balcony that faces out on to what is generally a very calm street. Its really the ideal place to sit out in the sun with a cup of tea in the morning and watch all the pedestrians walk by. It was my calm refuge for many years and now I hope it can be yours as well.
I really love exploring Montreal, and will be happy to give advice to guests. I hope you'll enjoy your stay here! Feel free to contact me with further questions.

Like the consistency of the theme throughout the apartment, perfect size for a couple. Good location, Stella was very very accommodating.
Stella was very friendly and attentive both over e-mail and in person. The clean and cozy studio is nicely decorated with black and white furniture and a matching black and white comforter with images of European cities. The bed is very comfortable and the layout of the long and narrow studio makes it seem bigger than it is. She has a well-equipped kitchen with many cooking utensils, supplies and condiments. She also has a some good information about Montreal and the rest of Quebec for tourists. Having traveled internationally herself, she relates to other travelers well.
If you are driving, parking around the McGill campus can be pretty challenging . While there is a lot of free parking, many spaces are for resident permit holders only during many hours of the day. Overall, it was a great find in a happening part of town. I would recommend it to others visiting Montreal!
Stella was a great host and provided enough suggestions and materials to help us discover Montreal on our own.
The place itself was the perfect size for two people to stay for a few days and the location was close to almost everything we wanted to do.
I would stay with Stella again.
I live in Montreal but was looking for a place for my mom to stay while she was in town. Stella was a warm and friendly host and everything work out perfectly. Communication was super easy and prompt; the apartment was tidy and stocked with teas, basic cooking supplies, tourist brochures, etc. I have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone looking for a place centrally located in Montreal!
Great apartment, great location.
This was a very nice place to stay during a visit to McGIll. It's easy access to campus, lots of restaurants and shops around, only about 1 KM from downtown, and easy Metro access for any place else. The apartment has enough room to be comfortable (tiny bathroom might be tight with two people), and Stella was great to work with.
Stella's flat is lovely, comfortable and clean! Everything about it was perfect for our needs - convenient, warm (it was January), affordable, amazing water pressure in the shower, and a well-equipped kitchen. Stella was very accommodating of our schedule and provided a lot of information about events and transportation. We have a 13 year old so it was a good size for 1-2 nights.
Very clean and bright - great location and wonderful host! Highly recommended!
Everything as advertised. Very friendly and helpful.
Excellent location, price, conformability, and equipped department. Stella is a lovely guest, quickly answered everything, and a very nice person. She gave us a lot of information about how to enjoy Montreal. For sure will go back the next time we visit Montreal.
Stella’s studio is a good place to stay, in one of the most central residential areas in Montreal. It’s only a few minutes walk to the centre of downtown (rue Ste Catherine) and you can cut across the McGill University campus day or night, at the west end of Milton Street and then south through the main gates. Or you can walk a bit further, and about 20 minutes in different directions will get you to all sorts of things.
