The house was ideal for our family trip to Ireland. The views were amazing! The lounge/kitchen area was spacious and well equipped. The house was clean and well looked after. Sinead was so helpful and flexible. We will be back!
Sinead was amazing helping us coordinate our Christmas plans. She located and helped us reserve supper plans for Christmas. Due to the holiday season, we never had the pleasure to meet her, but she was always readily available to us. The residence location was ideal for entering into the national park and also for a quick walk into town. Killarney was beautiful at Christmas and Sinead allowed us to enjoy it!
The house was clean and had everything we needed. It is quiet even though it is just off a main road.
There was good communication before our stay with Sinead.
On the first day the shower only had cold water - after some communication with Sinead it appeared that the hot water had not been turned on. This was soon fixed.
One downside is that there was some confusion about what was included. There was hand soap but no shampoo or normal soap. There was one dose for the dishwasher, but not soap for the washing machine.
There was one roll of toilet paper, and when this ran out we had to wait two days to get more, so we ended up buying it ourselves.
It just made our stay a little awkward with the constant having to ask for things. A little surprising as this is a professionally-managed holiday home development.
Other than that the houses are nice and good for a family.
Thanks for your constructive feedback Matt. Unfortunately the accommodation supervisor had just left after being with me for almost five years, and we happened to be in transition during your stay.
We do not normally provide washing powder and to be honest, you are genuinely the first guest to ask for it!!!
I hope you had a lovely time in Killarney.
WE are just home from a fab w/e in Killarney. Sinead was very nice to deal with. Property description was as per the ad. Location was ideal as we were a group participating in the Killarney Adventure Race. Very close to the National Park and all the amenities it offers. Check in and access was very easy and convenient.
This is a holiday village at the edge of Killarney, right in the national park, and a very good location. The house was clean and tidy, and all of the expected amenities. Sinéad communicated well, though we didn't meet her. There was no food or breakfast, so you will need to provide your own.
The informative literature provided in the living area was very useful. The breakfast recommendation at the Brehon was great. Overall, the price for an overnight stay in surroundings suited to our needs was unbeatable. We all agreed that choosing a holiday home over a hotel or bed and breakfast was the best option for us.
Everything was great! It is a wonderful place to stay and right across from the National Forest!
