The Elm Street House was exactly what we needed on this trip. We very much appreciated that our dog was welcome. The house was very clean, the neighborhood and the guests staying in the guest house were very quiet. Jen made sure everything was ok upon our arrival and let us know she was available if we needed anything during our stay.
This is a great, spacious two-bedroom house in a nice neighborhood. The bedrooms are separate from each other, and the entire house was professionally cleaned. The bathroom has an old-fashioned clawfoot tub and the A/C is very effective. It was a pleasure to walk my dog in the neighborhood, which is very residential but also close to UofAZ and other Tucson sites. Jen was great about communicating with me and was understanding and receptive to check in and check out flexibility.
Great location. Close to U of A campus, 4th St and downtown easily accessible. Walking distance to several restaurants.
The place itself is clean, spacious and nicely furnished. Front and back outdoor spaces are relaxing and enjoyable in a well maintained southwestern style.
Hosts are available and willing to accommodate special requests.
This was our first Airbnb experience and we weren't sure what to expect. I have to say that it exceeded our expectations! The house was very comfortable and completely set up. I was surprised to see that the kitchen had everything that we needed. And the yards (front and back) were delightful. A friend joined us for our stay in Tucson and she had two small dogs. It was a treat to be able to let them roam around the yard without being concerned that they could get out. And Jen, our hostess, was very accessible. We needed help getting the TV to work and she came right over when we called. The location was close everything we needed, included bike trails (my husband is an avid biker and brought his bike). In short, it couldn't have been a better experience....and SO much better than hotels we had previously stayed in.
This house was not only exactly what we were looking for it also was hosted by the most pleasant and attentive of proprietors. She was very quick to respond to questions and was also able to get us in at literally the very last minute. The property itself was impeccable very clean very well-maintained with everything we needed and then some. highly recommend for anyone staying in Tucson who wants an easy professional experience.
