The property is in the village of Vernazza "National Park of Cinque Terre", consists of a studio which includes: bathroom with shower, bedroom with double bed, living area with single bed and cooking area. It is located about twenty meters from the beach and cliff in front of the "square" of the village. Vernazza is the most ancient and characteristic of the "National Park of Cinque Terre" is located in a small bay with its small harbor used as a pleasure boat.
From Vernazza you can take the hiking on the trails that reach Levanto to the west and to the east Porto Venere. The cuisine of the restaurants is traditionally typical for the abundance of fresh fish caught locally.
The studio is very comfortable and cozy for the distribution of space and furnishings, the micro-climate that is established is cool in the summer and mild in the winter.
The restaurants located in the historical center of the village are elegant and refined for their cuisine and their wines.
Sure to make happy those who are accommodated in what has been described above.
Mi aspetto che gli ospiti siano contenti e soddisfatti del loro soggiorno e che mantengano l'appartamento pulito senza provocare danni.
We had a lovely stay in vernazza. The location was perfect and we had everything we needed at the apartment. We can reccomend the restaurant to the right as you are entering the passage way where the apartment is. We ate there twice. Gianmaria was very helpful and met us at the train station. Would reccomend ! Thanks
Very hospitable host and a good location, just off the main harbour square.
Despite some rain we enjoyed our stay at this cute little studio in Vernazza. The location can't be beat! It is a little dark and damp - but this is the case with most places in a village like this. The shower was great, plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The bed was comfortable, and the size of the apartment is great for a couple or even three people. Gianmaria was very kind and met us at the train station to show us the way. We enjoyed our stay!
We got off to a good start when Gianmaria was awaiting our late arrival at the station. The apartment is in a good location.
Apart from the well appointed bathroom with very good use of space, we were not impressed with the rest of the apartment. The four burner gas range did not work. (not connected to the gas line?) A small one burner electric hot plate was the only cooking surface. . A microwave was there, but no suitable bowls. Little cutlery supplied. Two beds were listed, but only one bed was made up, no extra sheets in the cupboard. Wifi was available in Vernazza, but not at this apartment. We tried to contact our host by email, and in desperation we eventually enlisted the aid of a kind shopkeeper to phone for us and leave a message about 11am on our first morning. The door to the apartment had a very tricky lock. With the aid of a local man and fifteen minutes experimenting we were able to open the door to get back in the apartment .
Early that same evening, without knocking a man we assumed to be Giuseppe unlocked the door, and stormed in. He was very angry that we didn't like his apartment, and went on and on. “You are only two people you only use one bed, three people, then you can use two beds”.
When we pointed out the stove that didn't work, his answer was “All you need is the hot (email hidden) is against Italian Law to have gas in an apartment!!!!” Then why was it installed? Perhaps it couldn't
pass inspection? He obviously was not going to correct any problems.
The man was rude and a bully. Unfortunately for him we are not two timid old ladies, quite the contrary. We finally got him out of the apartment by “That is enough now Guiseppe, it is time for you to leave”
Sorry Gianmaria, we would not recommend this apartment to anyone, and particularly not to friends.
No comment, no comment, no comment.
With the brain and ways of living that you do, perhaps you'd better stay at home.
You are the only people as you can see from my reviews I have behaved badly.
I'm there I will never again in my apartment in Vernazza.
Giamaria was most welcoming to us even though he was mucked around by our late arrival due to an Italian train strike.
He carried our suitcases from the satin and explained everything in the house to us.
We really enjoyed our stay and particularly being so close to the centre of Vernazza
Our stay was nice. Gianmaria was kind enough to greet us off the train to show the unit. He is a short distance away in La Spezia and was pretty good communicating. The bed was comfy and the toilet flushed. The unit is located in a walkway behind the main drag, which has lots of noise coming from it 24/7, so bring earplugs. Make sure you don't accidentally switch off the fridge or water heater (they're marked with a post it note). New Italian style coffee maker (byo creamer and/or coffee). The hair dryer didn't work well for us, seems to have rusted out. It is very muggy and stuffy, only one window that opens, and no fan or air conditioning. Up the main road in town is a laundry place (5€ small & 7€ large to wash, includes soap, softener, & disinfectant). We opted to hang them to dry (clothes line and pins are at the unit), but it took +/- 2 days and never got completely dry (laundry mat has a dryer ?€). The unit is perfect for lodging with basic amenities, nothing fancy.
