Since 1998 'Tripti' evolved into a small nature hotel. 'Tripti' has seen the entire area develop and now there are as many as 50 guest houses in the area but only a few appeal. Rest are as good as being in a car in a crowded city's traffic jam.
There are 5 Clean rooms with attached Washrooms. 3 rooms have a Balcony. Breakfast is served in the Restaurant on the floor just above. We offer the best hospitality and the best tariffs that you can think of. This small clean hotel has all basic amenities and the friendliness that no one else can offer.
In a peaceful and clean environment you can enjoy your stay at TRIPTI and relax in the quiet atmosphere that this place offers. It is a place where one can sit and meditate for hours at a stretch.
Interaction with Guests
Mr. Atul Sharma (President of the hotel union of the area) has kept "TRIPTI" as close to nature as possible. He takes personal responsibility and ensures that the guests in 'Tripti' are confortable and makes sure that all their needs are catered to and that they have a relaxed vacation
The place is a 5 mins walk from the Laxman Jhula Auto Stand. 400 mts ahead of the Police check post on the main Highway. There is a beautiful Beach 10 mins away where you can meditate..
Yes the place has convenient access to Auto stand till 9 PM in winters and 11 PM in Summers. Else you could also request the kind owner Mr Atul Sharma to arrange for a pick up which he would be able to take care of..
We had an AMAZING stay at Tripti! We didn't actually interact very much with Ankur but did with his nephew, Manis, who was running the hotel in his place. Manis was so welcoming, sweet, and did everything in his power to make our stay not only comfortable, but fun! He gave us lots of tips and lead a wonderful scooter trip to nearby Neer Garh waterfall. Manis is our favorite! I would definitely stay at Tripti again, and recommend it to anyone staying in Rishikesh! The rooms are clean, the location a little removed from the commotion, and the host is awesome!
Below average experience. When my parents and me arrived, we were told that the room we had booked was occupied by someone else and even though they arranged for us to stay at another hotel, it was a place with a very different vibe, one of those unpersonalized hotel blocks. Furthermore, we had initially booked 3 nights and ended up staying only 2 and had communicated that with Ankur a couple of weeks before arriving. He said we would take care of the refund once we got to rishikesh. We still had to go several times from our Hotel to Tripti to ask for the refund though.
Wouldn't recommend anyone staying there. There are much nicer places to stay in a much better location at the Ganges.
My stay at Ankur was great. The boys were excellent and showed me around Rishikesh. The rooms were clean, and the bed was the warmest you can find there. Will be going there again very soon.
Ficamos no hotel do Ankur por 3 noites. A cidade de Rishikesh é incrível e gostamos muito do hotel. O restaurante é muito bom.
I arrived at Tripti night time and was welcomed by Sunil who was looking after the guest house. I immediately felt safe and happy. Sunil is a lovely, caring and warm man he is also a trekking guide and offers many different treks up the mountains at the right time of year.
My room was better than what I had expected, large with high ceilings, simple but clean enough. Three more rooms were being done up during my stay and they are beautiful, spacious and have balcony's. Tripti was for me a perfect location away from the bustle of the market but an easy 10 min walk to Laxman Jhula Bridge and all the restaurants and shops and the breathtaking Ganga! Tripti is in Tapovan the top part of Laxman Jhula and there are also cafes, restaurants and shops near by. When Sunil left for trekking 2 young guys came to look after Tripti; Mann Singh and Sagar who are both great and have become good friends to me. They are also great cooks! The food offered is reasonably priced and tasty! I did not meet Ankur as he was away tending to his father but I did have the pleasure of meeting his wife Sushmita who is both beautiful and lovely.
Rishikesh is full of love and peace, filled with natural beauty go with an open heart and you can not be dissapointed!
Ankur and his father Atul both are very kind, friendly, helpful, worthwhile trust. Although simple but they are always willing to give the best to guests. I enjoy my stay with this nice family. Good location, not far from the heart area Laxman Jhoola bridge, walking distance. New rooms are under construction, could be a good choice after setting up. 嘿，这是很好的一家人，值得信任，推荐给中国的朋友们:)。Ying from Beijing
