Come enjoy my lovely 700 square foot classic loft in the Fort Greene / Williamsburg area of Brooklyn. I have been in this loft for more than 4 years and it has all the classic charm that comes to mind when you think of a Brooklyn loft. The neighborhood is great with plenty of amenities within a short walk of a block or two.
It is a beautiful space with lots of natural light coming through big loft windows. It is designed and furnished mid-century modern, with high ceilings and an open, spacious feel. It is very comfortable and clean. The buildings across the street are only 2 stories high so the view is nice and open for miles. The windows face west so the sun rises and floods the loft with morning light and keeps the space bright all day.
The bathroom is very big and gets lots of light with a full tub and shower. The kitchen is spacious and open with plenty of counter space.
There is a new queen sized bed in each bed room, flat screen television, over-sized couch, Bose stereo, wifi and laundry (coin operated on the 2. floor in the building).
The loft is in a classic old warehouse building. . . it is not a new construction or conversion. There is a great roof with 24 hour access with wonderful views and fresh air. It's a perfect place for a bottle of wine.
It's near the Navy Yard in the center of the very trendy neighborhoods of Fort Greene and Williamsburg. It is less than 2 blocks away from great supermarkets, restaurants, bodegas, and most other necessities. It is on the fifth floor and the building has an elevator. It is a few blocks from Pratt Institute art school and walking distance to the beautiful Fort Greene Park.
If you are driving in from out of town, or plan to have a car here, street parking is safe and easily accessible.
Everyone that comes into the loft, loves it and feels (email hidden)e experience it for yourself...
We stayed at Julie's Loft for ten days during new years eve.
The loft was beautiful, bright and has a perfect size for four persons, and although we were there at wintertime it was warm and cozy. The interior is very stylish with a great mixture of old and new.
Supermarkets and wine liqueur shops are nearby and we could reach it within walking distance. There is also a bikestation around the corner which we used daily to explore Brooklyn and NY by bike.
The next Metro-Station to Manhatten is less than 10 minutes away by bike (with a bike station right next to it) or within 20 minutes walking distance.
We did not meet Julie personally but she was really helpful with tips for restaurants, etc. and communication was always easy and reliable.
We stayed for 1 1/2 week in Julies appartement and felt like at home!
The apartment was beautifully furnished and everything was as represented on the website.
Don't hesitate, this appartement is the one you need for your next visit to Brooklyn / NY!
