San Francisco short term residential rental registration number : STR(phone number hidden)
Possession of a San Francisco short term rental registration certificate certifies that the registration certificate holder has agreed to comply with the terms of the San Francisco short term residential rental ordinance ( San Francisco administration code section 41a). This ordinance does not require inspection of the unit by the city for potential building, housing, fire, or other code violations.
Our studio has received 5 stars on Airbnb for the last 4 years, but we've made it even better. We did a full designer remodel and we have just reactivated the listing. Everything is brand new. The studio now has a full range and refrigerator. A walnut butcher block table and Eames chairs. Quartz kitchen counter tops and inset sink for easy clean up. An extra large curb-less shower with a rainfall shower head. Free wi-fi. It's just plain fly.
Our family lives on the top 2 levels, so expect to hear us above and we are available should anything come up, but we really try to leave you alone to make yourself at home.
There is a great corner store and free street parking. We are a few blocks from Ocean Beach and Golden Gate Park. A bus stop is around the corner which will take you downtown.
On Balboa there are restaurants, Bank of America and a large Walgreens on Geary Street just a few blocks up. We are only a few blocks from Golden Gate Park and all the amazing things it has to offer. Also, only 7 blocks from the legendary Ocean Beach with some great surfing/kite boarders to watch and you can enjoy dinner or beers at The Cliff House or Beach Chalet. Sutro Baths and great hikes at Lands End are also blocks away with amazing views of the bridge.
The Zoo is 3 short miles away (my family and I bike there!)
15 minutes to the Presidio, Crissy Field and the Golden gate Bridge.
Great public transportation right on Balboa or Geary can take you straight across the city to downtown. The Muni bus right on 40th & Balboa will take you downtown for $2
If you drive from the airport we are about 20 minutes using the Great Highway. If you drive downtown its about 20 minutes straight across town on Geary. if your using public transportation it can take 30-40 minutes.
Outer Richmond is the most residential part of the city, so it isn't typically as loud as down down (no bars/restaurants around here are open late). However, our home is built in the early 1900's and as our most SF homes, they are connected to other homes. Which means paper thin walls and ceilings. You will hear people on the top floors/possibly next door and even cars...which is very typical of any SF apartment. We keep a fan in the apartment and we use one ourselves to muffle any noise and we are always fine.
* How far is the nearest BART station? There is a Muni bus right on 40th and Balboa that takes you straight across down for $2
Before your arrival we will email you a code to get into the door b the garage door. You will key in your code and enter the garage and exit into the backyard. The studio is immediately on your left.
Interaction with Guests
We live upstairs but we are hands off hosts. I have had people stay here for months and see them only once or twice.
Other Things to Note
We expect you to treat the studio and our home with respect and consideration.
Max of 2 people. No additional guest or visitors allowed. This is a studio apartment on the garden level of our private home. You will receive your own set of keys to enter thru the garage and into your studio. No smoking/drugs allowed and no pets. Sorry. Clean sheets and towels provided.
I enjoyed staying at Noelle's studio. The bed was very comfortable, the decor was lovely and it had a nice relaxing feel to it. I liked that the kitchen had a variety of cookware to use. If you're staying long term then I would suggest you bring your own spices and pick up some cheaply priced ingredients at the nearby Safeway. We only made our own breakfasts, but we saved a lot of money that way.
There are some great restaurants a short walk away. I recommend Balboa Teriyaki, Americana and Purple Kow. Hakka Restaurant is a slightly longer walk, but has awesome food. Sri Thai Cuisine on the other side of Golden Gate Park delivers and they make great food as well if you're feeling lazy. Balboa Theater, while smaller has a more relaxed atmosphere than the hustle and bustle of theaters in downtown. There are very close bus lines that can bring you to downtown or the Sunset district.
You can hear some minor noise as was mentioned, but it wasn't distracting nor did it disrupt our sleep. The waterfall shower is heavenly. No shampoo is provided but they do have a jar with a few varieties of fancy soap to choose from (which worked perfectly for me since I bring my own shampoo anyways). Noelle herself was a pleasure to work with and always responded to my questions in a timely manner.
Thank you for the great stay! We were in town for Outside Lands and your apt was perfect walking distance from Golden Gate Park. We had time to check out Lands End which was nearby as well. Great location near the ocean! All the kitchen supplies you could possibly need were provided as well as towels and very comfortable and clean blankets and pillows. She was very helpful when we had questions about the wifi!
We enjoyed Noelle's comfortable and nicely appointed remodeled studio apartment. She left a bottle of wine for us to enjoy and was easily available and accommodating. The neighborhood was close to a great local market, Asian cuisine, Golden Gate Park, Ocean Beach and Land's End Trail.
My friend and I stayed at Noelle's place for 8 nights and I can really recommend on it.
First of all, the location is great. There are two main bus stations that are close to the apartment and can take you to the main places in the city. Moreover, you can walk only 10 minutes to the Ocean Beach, the Cliff house, and the Golden Gate Park.
The place is great for 2 people and includes a nice kitchen, bathroom and a big bed. I nust say that the Wifi was too slow for us.
Noelle and Ben were really kind to us and answerred our messages quickly! They are really fantastic!
So if you're looking for a good place to stay in San Francisco, you should choose to stay in this place!
The host canceled this reservation 7 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Noelles place in San Fran was perfect
Easy to get around as there was a bus stop at the corner and also uber was doing $7 rides anywhere in San Fran. We gave short notice and the place was ready to go as soon as we got there. It was a short walk to the beach and a great restaurant on the water. Easy communication and easy access to the apartment. The bed was very comfortable and room was very clean.
Thanks for letting us stay would defiantly recommend!
Noelle's place was perfect for me. Close to transportation to downtown. Noelle responded to my messages promptly. Check in and check out were easy.
