**We have fully remodeled both bathrooms & changed the floors in the unit which is not reflected in the photos. With the remodel we removed the tub for a large shower.

The guest house is on a shared property as our home. You have your own separate, private 2-story space. This guest house is a duplex, so there is one shared wall between your space and our other rental unit. We live in the home at the front of the property with our 2 children and 2 dogs. We work from home so are flexible to help you out however we can to make sure your stay is enjoyable. We have lived in this neighborhood for almost 15 years so have tons of advice and recommendations to share!
GUEST HOUSE DETAILS:
The guest house is a very spacious, modern 2-story unit. You can enter the house from both upstairs and downstairs. Inside, there is a spiral staircase, and outside, there is a regular staircase to access the bedroom. (the outdoor staircase is a bit easier to maneuver suitcases, etc). The bed upstairs is a California King tempurpedic. A small work space is provided upstairs, with a desk and a Herman Miller chair. The unit has high-speed WIFI, 70" flat screen tv with cable and smart TV, and wall-mounted heating / AC units both upstairs and downstairs.
The unit has a new fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Keurig K-Cup brewer, microwave, and large toaster oven. We provide cups, dishes, flatware, etc. We also stock some condiments and ice as well. There is not a stove or oven, but we do have a large toaster oven for basic cooking, and you are welcome to use our grill upon request. There are so many great restaurant choices in the neighborhood that we bet you will be taking advantage of the local chefs for most of your meals!
Security: Because we live on the property, we have outdoor security cameras monitoring our home and yard. Security cameras only cover outdoor common areas.
We enjoy a large outdoor living space at our home and are happy to share it with our guests upon request. Please note that the hours for the outdoor spaces are 9a-10p Sunday – Thursday, and 9a-12a Friday and Saturday. The outdoor area consists of:
1) BBQ grill
2) Dining table / chairs
3) Firepit with couch area
4) Space heaters with covered couch area
We live in the home at the front of the property and are available to help as needed
Situated on a quiet, high-end West Hollywood street, exquisite coffee shops, tasteful restaurants, and luxury shops are all a walk away. Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and the Santa Monica beach are a short drive.
We are about a 30-45 minute drive from LAX; 20 min from the 405, 10 and 101 freeways. West Hollywood Bike Share has many nearby locations as well.
PARKING: For a $200 fully refundable deposit, you can use one of our guest passes which will allow you to park on the street in front of the house. Please just return it when you leave so we can get you your deposit back. Note there is street sweeping on Thursday and Friday from 10am-noon on alternating sides of the street.
PARTIES / EVENTS: Special events and / or parties are not to be held here.
Check out procedures:
1. Empty refrigerator and freezer of all food.
2. Place all trash into trash bags and deposit into containers located on the north side of the building.
3. Place all dirty dishes into dishwasher and start machine.
4. Strip bed of used linens and place linens on floor for housekeeping.
5. Turn off A/C and / or heating units.
6. Leave guest parking pass on kitchen counter
7. Turn all lights and electronics off.
8. Close and lock all windows and doors.
