The Neighborhood

The Graham Ave micro-neighborhood has everything you need in a small area. Great Cafes (Blue Stove being my favorite Brooklyn cafe period) good restaurants - Mesa Coyoacan for great Mexican food, Sel Del Mar for seafood, Multiple Italian restaurants (Il Passatore being my favorite),and many more.
Plenty of bars in the are. Mothers which doubles as the local burger joint, and Daddy's which has a variety of hotdogs in a bun, are the simple choices, while The Richardson is a bit more classy.
Many many more choices and all are just a short walk from the apartment.
McCarren Park with its Saturday Farmers' Market and public swimming pool, McGolric park and Williamsburg's Main drag on Bedford Ave are all near by.

The cross Brooklyn G train is also near by.
Parking on the streets near by is relatively ease

  • Shai is a great host, very kind and it was very easy to communicate with him and have all the information we needed.
The apartment is truly as you see in the photos: a very warm dining room, an equipped kitchen, a comfortable bed, everything clean and new.
The location is perfect to visit NY: in less than 15 minutes you are in Manhattan, at Union Square but at the same time you are in the hearth of Williamsburgh, a very safe neighborhood, plenty of restaurants and place to drink something in a relaxing atmosphere.

  • Shai was a great host, very accomodating (especially with check-in/out) and friendly. We had a little snack that was waiting for us, it was very thoughtful of him. Everything was clean and well prepared. The flat was great, even more with the the bathtub by such a cold weather and perfectly located in Williamsburg, even when the L is not working. ;) We definitively recommend this place and if we come back to NYC, we would stay there again without no doubt.

  • This was our first experience with Airbnb, and it could not have been better! Shai was a wonderful host, very prompt and easy to communicate with, and provided helpful information for us.
Shai's apartment was great! Super clean and comfortable, with a nice sized living room, comfy bed, and fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Even though we were there in the midst of a big winter storm, we were warm and cozy!
The location couldn't be better. It was only a short walk to the L train into Manhattan. The Brooklyn Williamsburg neighborhood is a fantastic place with loads of fun bars, shops, eateries, etc. all within a few blocks walk. It is a very safe neighborhood as well.
We would highly recommend Shai's apartment, and will definitely be touch with him for future trips to NYC. Thank you Shai! Jill

  • Shai's place is cozy and comfortable. The neighborhood of williamsburg/greenpoint is very cute. Lots of restaurants in walking distance, nice wine shop, and grocery store all very close. The L train is just a few blocks away which is pretty convenient when trying to get to Manhattan. If you are looking to stay in Brooklyn area definitely inquire with Shai. Shai was also very flexible and easy to communicate with. Thanks so much!

  • Best Air Bnb stay yet! Shai is a wonderful host and so easy to get in touch with. He made the booking, getting keys, etc super easy. The apartment is spotless (the cleanest Air Bnb we've stayed in yet!). It easily accommodated our family of 3. The bed is sooooo comfy, and our son was super comfy on Shai's nice and big sofa.

The apartment is in a great location steps from great restaurants and coffee shops,..only 2 blocks to the Graham L train. It's a great neighborhood: very safe and so close to Manhattan. We would definitely stay again. Thanks Shai!

About
Free Spirit. Love to travel and explore. Traveled a good part of the world including Asia, Africa and Europe. Asia, and specifically China are probably my favorite but each place is and every experience is so different that it is impossible to compare! I moved to New York 4 years ago and have since lived in the Lower East Side, Clinton Hill and now Williamsburg. As a young professional Williamsburg is my favorite of the three, offering a good balance of culture, bars and food - along with the great people that live and work in the neighborhood.
