Our cabin is within cell service and we've recently added in room wireless routers for high speed wifi so you can stay connected.... but we won't tell anyone if you claim to be out of range;) Our LCD TVs are equipped with new blue ray/ DVD/ smart players (direct access to NETFLIX and the online world) for your convenience.

The Salal features hardwood floors throughout the living space with tile in the kitchen and bathroom. The luxurious bathroom features a deep soaker tub for those that like to indulge in a lengthy bath.

It has a wonderful covered deck with a relaxing hot tub and seating to enjoy a beverage while tending to the barbecue.

Other things to note
We have always taken great pride in offering our guests safe and clean accommodation for their trips to the Pacific Rim. In response to the current environment, we have stepped up our cleaning measures and are following all provincial government guidelines for cleaning and disinfecting. For your safety, we have also removed some items that cannot be appropriately sanitized such as throw blankets, salt and pepper, and some other kitchen consumables.

For our return guests, you may notice our check in and check out times have been amended to accommodate our newly enforced best practices and resulting significant increase in cleaning times.

The hot tub is operational and continues to receive adequate attention after each departure. We are following all provincial guidelines for sanitation and operation of the hot tub.

We want to give our guests the utmost confidence in planning their stay on the Pacific Rim. In doing so, we have adjusted our cancellation policy for 2020 to offer our guests significantly more flexibility, and are always here to work with you should an unforeseen circumstance arise.

For guests looking to bring their four legged family: Well behaved pups are welcome to join you. Dogs are not to be left behind in the cabins unattended. If your pup is a couch dweller please bring a sheet for the futon. The pet fee is $15/ night ($30 minimum per stay) per pup (2 dogs max). The pet fee is payable with a month of your stay through airbnb's "send money" feature or can be paid in cash during your visit. Please let us know you will be bringing a pup in your booking message.

I moved to Ucluelet to escape the crowds and enjoy a more relaxed pace of life at the end of the road. The surrounding area has a bounty of wild beauty seldom found elsewhere. The Ocean had me in it's grasp at a very young age, and once it did, I couldn't imagine living without it at my doorstep. When not on or around the water, I enjoy working on the property, exploring the local mountains, and the company of good friends.
