We love opening our home and sharing it with visitors to SF.
This is a large 2 Bed Victorian home in a desired, central and fun location of San Francisco!
Amenities in the house include high speed internet, washer and dryer, all needed kitchen appliances. Lots of storage space in the basement if needed.
I'm recently a new host and really excited about having others share my beautiful space.
1. Our room - Large room, with King Size bed, closet space and a desk. beautiful old fireplace (not in use)
2. Another room with ensuite - Queen size bed and lots of storage, closet space.
Lots of towels, new clean bed sheets and extra blankets.
Lovely Dinning room if you want to have a dinner, Living room or even the basement for some ping-pong games.
The Lower Haight was recently voted the best neighborhood in SF. The neighborhood is loaded with great bars and restaurants. Toronado is famous for serving a wide variety of quality craft beers not frequently found elsewhere. In addition, the neighborhood is very central, with easy access to the many popular neighborhoods and Golden Gate Park. The mission, Hayes Valley, Western Addition, Pacific Heights, and the Upper Haight are all within walking distance. Duboce Park starts on the next block, over, where you can enjoy the park or catch the N train down town, to BART, or out to Ocean Beach.
nothing really... respect how many guests you bring home but otherwise enjoy the space for dinner parties etc
No partying after 1am outside. Noise must be inside.
It was absolute pleasure to stay at Laura's place. It was special as I hosted her last year and this year I got to visit SF and stayed with her.
She is very kind and warm host and I had great time staying with her.
She has a beautiful apartment in great neighborhood.
I would definitely recommend her apartment to other guests !
My girlfriend and I stayed at Laura's place for 4 nights. Although we did not meet her in person, her fiancé Shaun was very welcoming and helpful. Their house huge and situated in a very cool neighborhood with lots to see. We wouldn't hesitate to go back! Thanks again Shaun and Laura!
Clean, great location, not much interaction with the host, but very friendly and easy to communicate with.
We had a wonderful weekend in Laura's beautiful home. Her home was lovely with high ceilings and gorgeous wood details. The location was really fun with lots of restaurants, shops, and bars within walking distance. We loved using the bikes to get to Golden Gate park. Laura was so helpful and quick to communicate. She accommodated our last minute request with no issues. We really enjoyed our time in her home and hope to be back.
I started a new job and life in San Francisco. And it was because of Laura and Shawn it went out so very well! I had 6 fantastic weeks in their beautiful appartment. They really are the perfect hosts. :)
Laura's home was absolutely perfect for hosting our gang of (5) Portland based printmakers. It's central location and easy access to public transportation made attending our international conference (which took place all over town) a breeze. The home is well maintained and beautiful and there are many restaurants. bars, and shops for those who want to stay close to home. Although we didn't get a chance to meet Laura, she stayed in contact and checked in to make sure all was well, which her home went above and beyond expected! I definitely recommend!
Our group included 4 adults and one two year old and it was the perfect space for our San Francisco long weekend. The bedrooms and living room are located at the opposite ends of the apartment so we were able to hang out while the youngin' was sleeping and didn't have to worry about waking her up. Her parents put her play pen in the large closet which gave them a little sound control for them to sleep as well. They recommend this place for groups with toddlers.
The neighborhood was amazing, parks really close by, great little cafes and corners stores literally a 30 second walk from the apartment. The Grind Cafe is really yummy for breakfast, lunch, coffee etc. We went there almost everyday. About a 15 minute walk from Haight-Ashbury neighborhood. 15 minute drive to Golden Gate Park. Just an amazing location with beautiful Victorian houses lining the streets.
Laura was really accommodating and made the whole reservation process super easy.
I would definitely stay here again, it's a perfect base to explore the gorgeous city of San Francisco!
We both work for Airbnb and live in San Francisco.
