The Firehouse is a historic horse drawn building built in 1850, therefore relatively small, approximately 1500 square feet. Situated between the street and the tidal creek, because there were no fire-hydrants back then, they needed easy access to the river and to the street. The street does become one way one house up, so we do not have much two way traffic. But during holidays, there can be an increase in traffic. The walk to town is dependent on your stride and you can generally get there in 5-7 minutes which is not long. The house is best suited for 6 adults and couches are generally used for children or young adults. My personal preference is to only have 6 people. The listing explains that there are AC's in all but the kitchen & Val's room over the tidal creek which has a fan and generally gets a good cross breeze. The weather has been unusually hot this year and can be uncomfortable at those times. So if you absolutely require AC in all the rooms, then it will not work for you. Of course I have plenty of people who do not like AC. As far as parking I drive a ford explorer limited and can get into the parking spaces, for very oversized vehicles it will be more difficult for sure.
