My home is a classic Hawaiian ranchette on the slopes of Hualalai, on 3 acres of beautiful Hawaiian forest. It has beautiful lanais, a deck with hot tub downstairs, along with a workout room and ping pong table. KMH is close to several of Kona's beautiful beaches, the Big Island's most challenging golf, and has great views of the Kona coast. It is also adjacent to a Nature Preserve where you can hike for miles through the Forest. My home will make you feel like you live in Hawaii!

The space
Our home is about 2650 feet above the Pacific, on the slopes of Hualalai, but only 15 minutes from the closest of Kona's gorgeous white sand beaches. Most of the time you'll enjoy cool nights, and clear mountain mornings. Enjoy watching the Big Island's phenomenal bird life from the lanai or hot tub in the mornings. After an excursion to a variety of attractions or one of many Kona coast beaches, you can often return to coffee clouds that move in to keep temperatures cool in the mid-afternoons, with clouds usually clearing again in the evenings before sunset.

You can use our kayaks, paddle boards, surf board, snorkeling gear (assorted - we cannot guarantee to have your size!), coolers, beach chairs and plenty of other gear - just clean it off after use and return it in good condition.

AC is provided by the cool mountain air, and there is a fireplace if you want to cozy up and get warm in the evenings.

Guest access
You have access to the house, lanai, decks, yard, gardens, hot tub, exercise equipment, and thousands of acres in a Native Forest Preserve only a short walk up Hao. The most challenging golf course on the Big Island (Makalai) is only a short drive up the Mamalohoa Highway. There are spectacular views all around you. The Harbor and diving or fishing charters are only minutes away. Costco is right around the corner, and you're only 10 minutes from the airport. Fantastic snorkeling and scuba diving are all around you. We have snorkeling gear, kayaks, paddle boards, boogie boards and beach chairs for you to use.

Other things to note
Our entertainment system consists of cabled Wifi and Roku for each display. Please bring your Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, etc logins to enjoy your movies and shows!
