The Space

Hey folks!

I've got one bedroom in a 4 bedroom apartment for sublet. Here are the details:

Modestly sized room with a full sized bed and desk to work on. Window and curtain face a courtyard. Room available for one person.

Its steps away from the Q train (Parkside stop) which is about 20 minutes into Manhattan and transfers to all the major lines at Atlantic-Pacific.

Modestly sized kitchen with tons of pots, pans and things to eat on and cook with.

We have a 2 yr old cat named Rocket who is super sweet and playful. If you're not interested in him coming into your room, just close the door. No offense taken :)

Large living room with an awesome comfortable couch and table with chairs for eating. There's also a TV too if you want to watch, but really, who watches TV when we've got computers?

Laundry and grocery store across the street.

And did I mention that the park is literally across the street?!

Utilities and high speed internet are included!

Here is some information about Prospect Park which is close by!
"Prospect Park is a 585-acre public park in the New York City borough of Brooklyn! Attractions include the Long Meadow, a 90-acre meadow, the Picnic House, which houses offices and a hall that can accommodate parties with up to 175 guests; Litchfield Villa, the pre-existing home of Edwin Clark Litchfield, an early developer of the neighborhood and a former owner of a southern section of the Park; Prospect Park Zoo; a large nature conservancy managed by the Wildlife Conservation Society; The Boathouse, housing a visitors center and the first urban Audubon Center; Brooklyn's only lake, covering 60 acres; the Prospect Park Bandshell that hosts free outdoor concerts in the summertime. The park also has sports facilities including seven baseball fields in the Long Meadow, and the Prospect Park Tennis Center, basketball courts, baseball fields, soccer fields, and the New York Pétanque Club in the Parade Ground." -Wikipedia

Guest Access

Access to all kitchen utensils, basic television (Netflix and Hulu provided), bathroom, living room.

Interaction with Guests

My roommates are very hospitable and we are used to having friends, family and guests stay with us. We enjoy meeting new people and are always available for any suggestions you may need.

The Neighborhood

The neighborhood has such great access to everything necessary- train, park, restaurants, grocery store, and laundry. Plus the park often has free music events during the summer months.

Other Things to Note

We do have a cat named Rocket who is super sweet and very chill. He likes new people but doesn't need too much attention, but may want to come by and say hi :)
