Bedroom available in bright, sunlit apartment! Just across the street from Prospect Park, Q train and supermarket. Great for your New York visit!
I've got one bedroom in a 4 bedroom apartment for sublet. Here are the details:
Modestly sized room with a full sized bed and desk to work on. Window and curtain face a courtyard. Room available for one person.
Its steps away from the Q train (Parkside stop) which is about 20 minutes into Manhattan and transfers to all the major lines at Atlantic-Pacific.
Modestly sized kitchen with tons of pots, pans and things to eat on and cook with.
We have a 2 yr old cat named Rocket who is super sweet and playful. If you're not interested in him coming into your room, just close the door. No offense taken :)
Large living room with an awesome comfortable couch and table with chairs for eating. There's also a TV too if you want to watch, but really, who watches TV when we've got computers?

And did I mention that the park is literally across the street?!

Here is some information about Prospect Park which is close by!

Interaction with Guests
My roommates are very hospitable and we are used to having friends, family and guests stay with us. We enjoy meeting new people and are always available for any suggestions you may need.
The neighborhood has such great access to everything necessary- train, park, restaurants, grocery store, and laundry. Plus the park often has free music events during the summer months.
Other Things to Note
We do have a cat named Rocket who is super sweet and very chill. He likes new people but doesn't need too much attention, but may want to come by and say hi :)
No smoking in the apartment please.
Please, do your own dishes and be helpful with taking out the trash.
Please clean up after yourself in the bathroom as well :)
About the Host, Mireya
I'm a freelance photographer for a pretty big entertainment agency. I spend most evenings working, covering an event or party. If I get the chance, I love to travel with my camera in hand. This summer I will be traveling to explore new parts of the world, taking photos . If you're interested in staying in NY for the summer, this is the place!
There are three other roommates and an awesome cat named Rocket. Everyone is very cordial and helpful if you have any questions. You are in good hands :)
