  • The apartment is huge, ideal for groups of 4-5. The view from the terrace is much better than it looks on the pictures so we enjoyed the spectacular view more than anything we did in the city. It is also closer than it seems to the city centre, only 10 mins by walking. Ernesto greeted us and took us there giving us all the info we need about the apartment and Sorrento. The lift is quite handy and there is a parking lot if you have a car. There is a supermarket nearby as noted. The TV is old and only had IT channels and there is no wifi. The apartment could have been a tad cleaner, that was the only downside for us. Definitely recommend it for a few days in Sorrento.

  • Danielle greeted at the train station. We followed him on his scooter to the apartment. All went smoothly. The apartment could be described as a penthouse - very spacious but shabby chic. The double bedroom had no hanging space for clothes and we found someone's medication in the drawer. The second bedroom had plenty of hanging space but the beds (single) were very narrow. One bathroom is off the kitchen which is awkward at breakfast time. Cooking utensils are limited and very little dishwashing detergent available. No wifi but is available on the main drag at Leonie Ross. Location is good - Tuesday market around the corner; sipermarkets not too far. 10 minute walk to train station 25 mins to Port. Lovely views of Versuvius and Naples

  • At first we were taken back by the location but after one night we knew we were in for a wonderful experience! Stopped at the produce stands and grocery store everyday! I left red steak knives & wine glasses! We also left 4 coffee mugs & red checked table cloth! Such a wonderful time cooking and eating in our own Italian apartment! Every Tuesday morning fantastic flea market around the corner!!! Don't use Via San Renata go the others was down the hill. Far less steep and so close to Tesso Plaza! No coffee pot so we got use to instant. Expresso pot was fun too! Bring DVD's since they have one and TV is ONLY Italian! Bring towels!!! Only one per person for 10 days! Washing machine though!!! AMAZING huge patio/deck with incredible view!!!

  • Ernesto met us at the railway station and orientated us in the apartment. Very welcoming and friendly. I would agree with all said by the previous review, including about the shower in 2nd bathroom. The apartment is large and the view spectacular..There was heaps of room for our party of 5. The lift is handy for luggage.
A couple of supermarkets are conviently located a short walk on the way up/down the hill into the town centre.
Sorrento is a great location from which to explore Pompeii, Amalfi Coast and Capri.
Be aware that some construction work is in process next door.

  • Daniele's colleague Ernesto met us at the train station and shared a cab with us to the apartment. Once we got there we were shocked with the size of the place. There is a ton of room, the place was clean, and the beds were comfortable.

Our only issue was with the 2nd bathroom. The shower was a very low water pressure and so we all showered in the first bathroom. The second bathroom was still usable for toilet and sink however.

Even with that issue, the balcony/terrace makes up for it. The view is spectacular and the terrace is huge. This place made for a great stay in Sorrento.

Do realize that you have a 10 minute walk into the town center which is up/down a decent hill.

  • The pictures do not lie. The view from terrace is incredible. The apartment is spacious and clean. We stayed for one week in the apartment and there was nothing to complain about. Overall we had very good impressions from our stay and can safely reccommend it to other people.

  • We had a wonderful stay in the Chiara apartment. The view from the terrace is fantastic, even better than the photos suggest. The apartment is spacious and clean with lots of natural light. Really lovely. The kitchen could be better equipped for cooking (the dishes are bit limited) and it was cold in the apartment when we first arrived, as the heat in the building is turned off at the beginning of April. As soon as the sun came out, however, the apartment warmed up nicely. Sorrento is a laid back and pretty town. We particularly enjoyed hiking to small surrounding villages.
