Conveniently located off of Goehmann Lane:
- 7 minutes to Main Street
- 10 minutes to numerous wineries along HWY 290 (Private wine tours will pick up from Big Red! Ask me for info.)
- 15 minutes to Luckenbach

The space
Big Red offers 8 bedrooms (6 downstairs and 2 upstairs) and 4.5 bathrooms (3.5 downstairs and 1 upstairs). It's an ideal home for night owls and early birds, as no one is expected to sleep in the downstairs common area. 11 ft. ceilings and 8 ft. solid-core doors (downstairs) accommodate even the tallest of Texans.

Downstairs there is an open living/ dining/ kitchen great room, 2 master bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, a 3 bedroom suite with a full bathroom, flex room (8th bedroom) with full size futon, half bathroom, and laundry room.

Upstairs you will find 2 more bedrooms, a second living room and another full bathroom. Most bedrooms have walk-in closets. We have 3 futon beds (1 in the downstairs flex room/ 8th bedroom, which has a locking door, and 2 in the upstairs living room).

Outside relax on the wide back porch, in the pool or the picnic tables under the shady oaks. The circular, salt water pool is 20 ft. in diameter; it is 5 ft. deep with a wedding-style baja shelf. It's just steps from the back door. There is a swing and slack-line in the grove and ample room for horseshoes.

We love music! There is a sound system in the great room; a Bluetooth speaker is available for playing music outside. We also have 2 acoustic guitars in the living room if you'd prefer to make your own music.

You'll take a few country roads to get to Big Red, but groceries and supplies are nearby- 10 minutes to Walmart, 12 minutes to HEB and 7 minutes to Short Stop convenient store.

Big Red is situated on pastoral farmland. We built the home to feel very private, but we do have neighbors and ask that all guests act accordingly. Guests are expected to observe quiet hours of 10 PM to 7 AM. House Rules must be adhered to; no guns, no fireworks, and no fires are the biggies. These rules protect our neighbors. Violating these will result in losing your deposit and being asked to vacate the property without a refund. We want everyone to have a good time at our home, but we can't stress enough how important it is to protect those around us.
