  • this was our first Airbnb experience and it couldn't have been better. The cottage has all you might need and if not our hosts were more than willing to accommodate. It's in a quiet location and is very private for those who don't want to be in the middle of Eugene! will stay here again-thank you

  • Such a great stay! I have nothing but good to say about this place. I really appreciate the owners who were communicative and understanding. I didn't get to meet them as they were out in New York during my stay but nonetheless I felt very welcomed by the home. They had everything set up great. It's so peaceful and relaxing inside, and outside. If you take a few seconds to swing on the little tree swing in front of the cottage, you'll feel like a kid again! It'll be such a great memory

  • Beautiful little cottage. It had everything I needed for my three night stay in Eugene. I liked both the cottage and the wooded area where it is located. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

  • This was just a perfect home away from home for 4 days! Bill was very kind to us and gave us a quick tour of his own, beautiful, house.
Everything you need is in here and you can easily park right next to the cabin. The grocery store is nearby, so are a couple of places to take out food. The wifi worked perfectly
There was a note that there would only be enough water for two quick showers or one long one. But we had no problems with the hot water. After two (not very long) showers, there was enough hot water to do the dishes. So don't worry about that.
We liked it a lot that there was an extra room for baggage, so we wouldn't stumble over our own backpacks.
Stay at this very nice cottage and you sure will enjoy Eugene!

  • The cottage was great! Pictures don't do it justice. Very private and serene.
When we arrived, Eugene was having a very rare snow event, not seen since the turn of the century! The cottage is on a bit of an incline that normally would not be a problem for anyone. We could not get up the hill in the snow with our 2 wheel drive car, so we called to see if there was another way to the cottage. The hostess was very nice and offered to come pick us up! We decided to put chains on and then there was no problem.
Once there, everything was perfect and in it's place. The owners came over to make sure all was good with us. They were very friendly and willing to help with anything.
    Thanks, Nancy :)

  • I was very lucky to have found this place. It was exactly as listed. I was visiting Eugene to attend a retreat and staying here was like being on a retreat. It was very private, quite, and clean. I returned home one evening and there were two deer sitting across from the front door of the cottage in the garden. I wished i could have sat with them. There is a grocery store within walking distance of the cottage. It has a large selection of organic products. Nancy-Diane and Bill are wonderful host. I got a really good feeling while I was there. A feeling like I could see myself living there. I hope to be able to stay here again. Thank you Nancy-Diane and Bill.

  • We loved our stay in the cottage. Nancy and Bill are terrific hosts--always available but never intrusive. The whole experience was great and we hope to return.

  • What a great quiet woodsy location on the edge of Eugene! Perched on a hill just a stones throw away from everything. Enjoyed our brief visit with Bill. Sorry we did not get to meet Nancy-Diane. The full kitchen in this small cozy cottage was great! We especially enjoyed the outside table & chairs where we had b'fast & dinner a couple times during our stay. Travel to the airport was a breeze as well. Anyone looking for a fun excursion about 45 minutes away, we did a tree climb with the" Pacific Tree Institute". It was about the best day of our 2 weeks in Oregon. Check them out!
