  • This is a lovely location and neighborhood with a semi-rural feel on a peaceful street but yet in town in appealing South Eugene. It is convenient-walkable to excellent shopping/eating. Downtown and U of O campus are further but a 10 minute drive or reachable by public transit. There is a forested city park one block away from the cottage at the end of the street with trails that lead to open meadows and a dog park. The studio cottage is perfect for 1 or 2 people with a comfortable large bed, bath, and kitchenette. The hosts are gracious, very helpful and friendly, typical of easy going Eugene! Granted I am a Eugenian myself as I did not stay here but chose this to host out of town family on a visit. I was happy to discover this on Airbnb. I liked the place a lot and my family members were comfortable and enjoyed the cottage, the friendly hosts, and the neighborhood. Recommended.

  • My husband and I enjoyed our time at the cottage. It is located in a beautiful neighborhood that has a secluded feel, but is within walking distance to groceries, laundromat, various restaurants, and the local yarn shop. (As a knitter I especially enjoyed that last one.) I enjoyed the lush greenery of the garden as we sat outside at the little patio area. We had a deer visit us one morning, looking for apples fallen from the nearby tree, and saw turkeys in the area as well. Nancy-Diane and Bill are really lovely people, and were great hosts to us. They provided us with information we needed about the area, and made a special effort to connect us to a realtor we needed to see. Overall a great experience!

  • We absolutely loved the cottage. We used to live in Eugene and were coming back for a visit so knew the neighborhood a bit. It is very secluded and has a lovely private outdoor eating space. We discovered a lovely park just up the hill with hiking trails that was perfect for morning and evening walks. Our host and hostess could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. The kitchen provided everything we needed. We will definitely be back and could not reccommend it more highly.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend in Nancy and Bill's cottage. The cottage is a remodeled garage, but the "street" is leafy and quiet. Space is tight but the queen size bed is comfortable and we had everything we needed. Bill said hello when we arrived but respected our privacy. The cottage is a mile or two south of downtown Eugene, walking distance from a nice grocery. We look forward to a return visit.

  • Such a great deal for a college town! We loved staying at this cottage, even though it's about a half hour or so walk into downtown Eugene/campus area. Definitely worth it to be so high up in town, in a peaceful and very serene neighborhood. The place is very clean and accommodating, and I would definitely stay here again over anywhere else in Eugene.
