Here is a F.A.Q About the apartment, hope it helps you have a better idea about your future experience with us ;)
1. What is the rental process?
Just select your dates, number of people, and go through with the booking,
2. What would the total be for renting your place between certain dates?
It depends on what you select when you go through the booking (the price should be indicated once you have selected dates and number of people etc on the booking page for the apartment). (cf. #1).
3. Would there be a deposit? If so how much would it be?
Yes there is. You pay it to AirBnB, and they give it back to you 2 days after you are out of the apartment if everything goes normally.
I have never had a problem before, and all of my guests have collected their deposit back.
The Deposit is 300€.
4. Would it accommodate two people?
Definitely. Two people would be most comfortable in the apartment :).
Four people can stay very comfortably in the apartment, as there is a real 160cm wide bed in the living room.
5. Do you have Internet access?
Yes. There is both LAN and WiFi Access. It is very fast.
6. Is this a secure building?
It is a very safe building.
First of all it is a very safe neighborhood.
The street door requires a code to get in. and the building door does too.
There is also a metallic curtain in front of the windows for extra safety if you feel like you need it ;).
7. What time do we have to check in and check out?
Whenever you want, I am very flexible and always looking to accomodate my guests to the best of my ability.
The only restriction to this, is if guests before/after you have arrive at the required hour... then you have to leave at "your" normal check-out hour so that the cleaning staff can do their job and make the place perfect again for the next guest.
8. Are you close to pubic transportation?
You have a metro station less than 30 sec away walking.
Gare Saint-Lazare is very close (5 minutes walk).
And the BusStop from Roissy CDG is also 5 minutes away (rue Scribe).
9. Is there grocery shopping/ cafés near your place?
There is everything you can dream of nearby.
Departments Stors like Galeries Lafayette and Printemps (french equivalent of Bloomingdale's, Macy's or Harrod's), are just down the street (3 minutes walk).
There are heaps of Cafés and restaurants nearby, including my personal favorite for morning coffees and afternoon teas: "Le Greffulhe", just down the street from the apartment, they will change your fears of "bad french service".
10. Is parking available?
Yes. Lots of offices in the neighborhood , so lots of parking both in our street, as well as in the surrounding streets.
11. Do you have a washing machine?
Washing machine, dryer, as well as dishwasher and all amenities are provided with the apartment.
12. Is there anything we should know about your place?
It's very comfy, very well designed, equipped with state-of-the-art everything, as well as actual Art ;). In short, it is the perfect base-camp for a wonderful Paris experience!

Other Things to Note
Please feel free to ask any question you may have regarding Paris or the apartment!
Please consider this home as your own, and respect it accordingly :).
The check-in directions were very clear and I easily accessed the apartment (which is conveniently located on the first floor). The apartment was more lived-in than I expected but still nice. The coffee table pictured was broken so I didn't have a great place to eat/put my drinks. Keep in mind that there's not a door separating the shower/sink area from where the main bed is, which is very close to the living room, so if you require privacy, others will need to stay in the living room area. The toilet is in its own separate room with a door. The neighborhood is the best part about the apartment - centrally located to amazing shopping and metro stops. I felt completely safe walking around at night with a friend. I didn't meet the hosts but was able to contact them during my stay via email as my phone didn't work.
Nice location and setup EXCEPT there is no air flow. The only air is from a door you can open leading to a community courtyard (not a private patio) so you cannot leave it open during the night. Since there's no ac, warm nights are tough because you are sleeping in a sealed room with a desk fan. There's no window to open. For the price I paid I feel somewhat misled.
Hey Lucas, It is the first time I have heard this complaint in over three years, but I am really sorry. Old parisian buildings are built in old stone, and keep warm in the winter, and cool in the summer. Also, we provide our guests with a large 60cm wide aluminum fan to make sure they have plenty of air. Finally, there is a 1 m wide ceiling window in the bedroom, which you could also have used to have an airflow... Next time Please de not hesitate to call us so we can help you out during your stay.. best regards, CM. :)
Our host Catherine-Marie was helpful when making the reservation and providing directions to get to apartment and instructions for self check-in. Everything was as described and the apartment was fantastic. Centrally located to metro lines and most of Paris attractions and landmarks. I would recommend it to couples or friends traveling together.
Catherine was an excellent host and her flat was awesome! The location was in the center of Paris within walking distance to many sights/activities, and the flat is nice, clean, and offers all the necessary amenities. Highly recommended!
This was a honeymoon trip that we gifted to friends. They had THE TRIP OF A LIFETIME! The apartment presented as seen on the listing and the location could not have been more ideal for taking in all that Paris had to offer.
Guests were treated well and the host was attentive to providing support and answering questions.
The location is perfect, very close to busiest shopping centers. Check in and out are pretty easy, can do self check in and out. Room is clean and cozy. The size for the flat is not very big but acceptable for a short stay given the location advantage.
