We loved our stay at Acropole Sunrise. Petros was an amazing host even before we arrived. The view and morning sun is wonderful in the communal area. It is quite a trek to get there so I would recommend getting a car or an atv if you are not inclined to hike a bit. He even had someone pick us up from the atv rental place which was nice and it was much cheaper than our rental in Mykonos. Great little beach town to hang out in and you can grab sunbeds in front of any beach restaurant for free if you order drinks. Perissa beach is also worth checking out. Santo Wines and Kapari wine restaurant (bit of a splurge but so worth it) are both amazing choices for sunset dining. I recommend making reservations in advance. Very romantic island but also perfect for a girls getaway like ours! Such an incredible place.

An incredible location, home away from home, beach nearby, hills if you like to walk and public transport close as well. Amazing breakfasts as well, Petros goes above and beyond to not only answer any questions but to make your stay an enjoyable and memorable one.

Petros was the best host I've ever had. He picked us up from the airport and pointed out important locations along the way (like the best gyros and where to catch the bus). He then sat us down, gave some snacks and helped us plan out the best things to see and do on the island and which excusions were worth the money and which ones weren't. He was super helpful in every aspect of our trip, which allowed us to sit back and enjoy Santorini. Our room was clean and the bed super comfy. Breakfast was provided daily in a beautiful open dining area. The town of Kamari where we stayed was perfect. Had great, well-priced restaraunts and a cool after dinner crowd too. (karioke bars, live music at beach bars and so on) Everything in Santorini, though it is a small(er) island, is spread out so although you can get almost anywhere you want to go by bus, I would reccomend renting a car or ATV, especially if you only have a couple days. If I could give more stars than 5 I would!

Petros and his wife were fantastic hosts and always available for anything we needed. They were so helpful with everything from picking us up from Airport to their suggestions of what to see, do and best way to get there. Although the place has a great view, we would highly recommend an ATV, moped or small car for the hill up to the hotel if you are staying for a few days. The rentals were very affordable for this. Petros recommendations were fantastic. We had one issue with our Atv one night and their office sent someone right away with another one,no questions asked. The daily breakfast was great and an added bonus. The rooms were a little tight so don't bring big luggage. Kamari is a fantastic place to stay and way more relaxing that Fira and Oia in our opinion. We highly recommend the Acropole Sunrise. You won't forget the view or Petros and Margianna

Look no further than the Acropole Sunrise ! My boyfriend and I spent 5 wonderful nights in Kamari and most of that was due to Petros's kindness, hospitality, recommendations and organization. It is was easy to tell Petros cares about you from day one. Not only did he reorganize the room from twin share to double for my boyfriend and I but he kept me updated before my trip with the easiest ways to get to the accomidation. We booked our ferry from ios to santorini the day before and Petros was able to organize a pickup from the port for us at late notice, at a reasonable price. My advice is to pay for the pickup Santorini is terrible for transport and the amount of chaos around the ferries makes it hard to navigate. When we first arrived Petros greeted us with a cool drink and plenty of information! And we mean plenty! His knowledge of the islands beaches and tourist sites and transport is fantastic. Dont even worry about booking anything before you get there as petros can organize it for you one or two days before hand. Petros even helped us organize a quad bike, where the owner of the shop picked us up from the hotel!!!! Amazing service. The hotel is located ontop of a steep hill, its not far from the town but if you have a problem walking you might want to budget for a vechile. Kamari is a great place to stay if you want to be out of the hustle and bustle of Oia and Fira which get really busy and crowded. It has a nice beach with great restaurant's and nice vineyards near by. Again, we found it hard to get around without a quad but that is general advice for all the islands in greece if you want to see anything out side the main town. Again we loved our stay here and couldn't recommend it more

We had wonderful 5 days in Santorini. Petros helped us out as much as he could and gave us very helpful advices about the island. The apartment is simple, clean and beautiful. Its the perfect location if one wants to have a beach (Kamari) and doesnt want to be too far away from the hotspots Imerovigli and Oia. We can only recommend Petros and his apartment!

Petros User ProfilePetros is a superhost.

Acropole Sunrise is a hotel with the typical cycladic architecture and built in a charming way. A family run hotel, located in the cosmopolitan village of Kamari, 8 km away from Fira and 5 Km away from the airport.

It dominates on top of a low cliff overlooking the black pebbled beach of Kamari, giving its clients, therefore, the opportunity to have a bird's eye view not only of the nearby area but also of Fira and the village of Pyrgos and Exo Gonia. The last part coming is a short steep walk.

It is 10 minutes away from the beach on foot and 5 minutes away from the centre of the village and the bus stop.

The air-conditioned rooms are bright and sunny and each offers a fridge & private bathroom. All rooms have private balconies with amazing views (sea, sunrise or sunset).

Free Wi-Fi is available. Public Computer Room and Fax/photocopying.

Continental breakfast is served daily, and guests can enjoy it in the privacy of their balcony or in the breakfast room.

Laundry service (extra service), safety deposit box and luggage storage are available on request.

Free public parking is available.

Car/Bike rental, with lowest prices.

Airport/Port transfer, or to any place of Santorini (extra service).
