We take pride in offering a safe, clean space. Wander over for fresh air, a serene lake, and breathtaking Blue Ridge views. Tucked away in beautiful Earlysville, VA, the house is perfect for a short term rental of 30 days or more. We offer a secluded farm setting, a winery on-site, and weekend events for all! We are conveniently located just outside of Charlottesville, within a mile of the CHO Airport, providing easy access to explore the local area.

The space
The private house sits on 500 acres at Adventure Farm and Chisholm Vineyards, a working cattle farm with rolling pastures for exploring, picnicking, and picture taking. Chisholm Vineyards is a stroll across the way and offers award-winning, 100% estate-grown wines. We love sharing stories and raising a glass to make joyous memories.

Built in 1978, set among mature oaks with a large deck overlooking the lake in a peaceful and charming setting. The bright, open living room boasts a vaulted ceiling, loft, and stone fireplace. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and an open floor plan with antique and traditional furnishings.

The Lake House creates a wonderfully spacious venue for an array of gatherings ranging from rehearsal dinners, micro weddings, and/or company and holiday parties. If you would like to book the space for an event, please contact our events manager.

For more information about Chisholm Vineyards and Adventure Farm, please see contact information listed on the Chisholm Vineyards website.

Guest access
The Lake House has its own entrance and offers extreme privacy without any immediate neighbors. There is access to the private lake for fishing and portions of the farm for exploring.

Other things to note
Check out the Chisholm Vineyards website for more information about our story: the farm, cattle, wine, and history. More photos and a calendar of events.

COVID
We take pride in offering a safe getaway during these unprecedented times. We are taking extra measures to ensure cleanliness, so you can focus on relaxing and enjoying your stay at the lake. We have the house professionally cleaned after each stay with all surfaces wiped down and linens sanitized.
