Beautiful studio apartment in the city center in the 18th district, next to Le Marché de l'Olive, near from Montmartre, Barbès, and Gare du Nord (Station). Connections to many subway and city train lines (Line 2, 12, and RER B), as well as buses.
One main living room with a big sofa/bed, view of a charming wood and the Sacré Coeur on one side, on the other side on a very quiet nice Yard, next to Montmartre, le Marché de l'Olive, Barbès.
One large dining room with a kitchen, and one large bathroom
Although the host wasn't available to meet us, he arranged for someone else to meet us and exchange the key. The apartment was small, safe, tidy and centrally located - everything we were looking for. My luggage was lost by the airline and contained all toiletries so it was nice that shampoo was available until I purchased some. We did not speak with the neighbors but they seemed nice. There was a view of Sacre Coeur and nice ventilation with the windows open. At night the windows were closed and it was very quiet.
My boyfriend and I really enjoyed Selim's place. The neighborhood is very vibrant and colorful. The apartment is close to two metro stations so we had no problems getting around. I would definitely recommend the place if you don't mind climbing the stairs. :) Selim was at our disposal throughout our stay. Merci!
The reservation was canceled 37 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
The location could NOT be better. This is central as central can be.
Selim met us at the arranged time gave us the keys, as we needed to leave early the next morning we agreed to leave the keys in the mailbox when we left. So far all was good.
What the photos do not show is how small the space for the bed really is. I'm 196 cm high and Camilla 179 cm. The two of us could hardly fit in the space and the bed. Usually neither of us is claustrophobic but, trying to sleep under the roof with no room to turn or sit up got to the both of us. It was like being in a shoebox.
Thus we ended up sleeping on the floor with the duvet as matres. Non of us have ever slept so bad in our life.
I can not in good faith recommend SLEEPING here unless a real bed is introduced to the flat.
I'm not picky at all, and have traveled a lot with airbnb as well as we are hosting on airbnb in our flat in Copenhagen, and we would never charge money for anyone to sleep under these conditions.
But the location is excellent.
Great apartment next to Centre Pompidou. Very nice view and furniture. Selim was a very nice host and everything went very well.
it is a terrible cliche to love paris, but we do! The apartment was perfectly parisian...very small and cute and the 115 stairs to the front door made sure the french food did not turn to fat! Selim was great host, told us where to do laundry, eat etc. Thank you.
We had a nice 3-day stay in Selims apartment. Perfectly situated in the center of Marais in a vivid street. We can fully recommend it!
