This roomy, recently remodeled 3 bedroom, 2 bath townhouse with 2 car garage home has it ALL!!! There is a Thermal Remote Control Fireplace, WIFI, HDTV, DirectTV, hardwood floors, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and marble master bathroom with steam shower. It also includes access to the Lake Village Club House that features a POOL TABLE, PING PONG, TENNIS COURTS, POOL and HOT TUB. Sorry NO PETS. On the first floor is the garage, BR 1 has a trundle full bed with twin under, BR 2 has a trundle twin bed with a twin under, there is a full bathroom in the hallway. On the second floor is the kitchen and living room along with the master bedroom that has a king bed and an amazing bathroom with a steam shower. In the living room there is a futon.

Brandon was nice, but I found out when we neared our arrival that this is not actually Brandon's place. He is an employee of a property management company. While overall the house was nice and met our basic needs, I don't think it fits in as a typical AirBNB rental if you are looking for a personal experience. This place very much belongs on VRBO or something like that because it's more generic, no photos/art or personal touches, not even the typical welcome letter! I use AirBNB because I want a personal connection and want to feel like the host is sharing their home with me.
Also, the process was more cumbersome: I had to deal with multiple people to physically sign a contract remotely (not the AirBNB norm), check in, get access to the pool/hot tub, etc. that was in the complex and not very easy to find, especially at night, in the dark. This place also does not sleep more than 9 and honestly it's a misleading listing because there is only room for 6 people in beds plus the two couches. There are two (uncomfortable) trundle beds they count that fill the entire bedrooms, as well as a futon that has a hole in it, so is quite uncomfortable. The WiFi was so slow we couldn't even stream non-HD content on the TV. The hot tub/pool closed at 3:30 PM due to repairs and several light switches weren't connected to overhead lights or were burned out.
The location was fairly convenient to the slopes and allowed for walking in nature nearby the rental. Overall we had a good time and the house met our basic needs, but I would not rent from this place again.
Hello and thanks for your stay. I am not an employee. I own my company. I rent over 90 properties in lake tahoe on airbnb. Therefore I cannot be in every place at every second. Airbnb is expanding and now have full home rental offerings instead of how airbnb first started which was an owner living in their property and renting out a room or space in their place for an airbnb renter. There are a lot of options on airbnb when it comes to wanting to rent your own place with no owner there or renting a property that is currently being lived in by the owner. i prefer to rent a house with no on else cohabitating it at the same time as myself and my guests. Each renter gets a welcome airbnb message from me, along with a contract that is specific to the property they are staying in because each property is unique and different than the next, and then i send you a check in letter with lock box code, wifi code, parking info, etc. sorry you feel you didnt get a personal touch with a letter in the house, i thought all my emailed and airbnb correspondence showed my personal attention.
i have brought the trundle beds and futon to the owner's attention along with your other concerns so they property is updated and upgraded for the next airbnb renter. please contact me next time you want to book and i will give you a discount for your troubles with this one. thanks, brandon
I'm going to have to write this in two parts:
(1) Brandon was great - very responsive, friendly and made things as easy as he could. 5 stars for Brandon.
(2) The property itself was badly represented in the description (to echo some of the comments made here). The location is good - close to casinos and skiing and the common area of the house is nice, but to be clear - this house does not sleep 10. While there are 3 bedrooms - one of them is a single bed, with an additional mattress underneath. There is another couch that as seen better days - that folds out flat - that is supposed to sleep two people I am guessing. Also one of the pillows in the bedroom seems not to have been washed.
This was my first Airbnb experience and it was rather disappointing. It seems the fault was largely with the property owner, rather than Brandon (who seems to simply be a booking agent), so this review is largely directly at the property and property owner. From the outset, things did not go well. I emailed the signed lease three times to two different email addresses (I replied to the owner's airbnb address and then also emailed the owner's address listed in the lease), but did not get a response until I sent a fourth email, copying Brandon. As a result, we did not get the entry code and instructions until the day of our booking, after some in our group had already started driving to Lake Tahoe - not a position a guest should ever be put in. I did also try calling the only number I had the day before, but Brandon was out of the office that day, so did not get a response to my message until the next day. I was hoping that everything would go smoothly after that but unfortunately it didn't. We arrived late on Friday night, only to find the gas fireplace wasn't working, and that many dishes were dirty (they had a film of grease on them). I called the emergency number listed on the lease agreement, and no one answered. I then left a message and was hoping for a call back. No one ever called back, not even the next day, or at any point during our stay. The first night, we spent a decent amount of time hand washing all the dishes so that we could cook and eat our dinner. The next day we figured out that the reason the fireplace wasn't working was due to its remote having dead batteries, so we bought the property some new ones. There were a few other disappointing aspects of the property. Most significantly, although it is advertised as having beds for 9 people, 4 of those sleeping spots were on the 2 couches in the lounge, instead of beds in bedrooms. This should be stated more clearly. Furthermore, although the two main bedrooms were decent, the third bedroom (with one single bed) was rather dingy and lacking compared to the other bedrooms. On a more minor note, bring a knife sharpener or your own knifes as the kitchen knives are all blunt. Another thing people should note is that the communal hot tub is far away from the house (you have to drive) and it shuts at 10pm. I would still consider staying at another property that Brandon manages, but would recommend others avoid this house, unless the price drops significantly enough to match the level of service and amenities you get (or unless the service and amenities improve). We did make the most of our time, and enjoyed Lake Tahoe itself, but the property and service should have really been a lot better when these kinds of prices are being...
This place was great. Check in was quick and easy. Location was phenomenal! We were between the state line casinos, and Zepher Cove. The place was beautiful, with vaulted ceilings, cable, and ample parking. I would definitely and hopefully will stay here again in the future.
The house accommodated us with group of 9 people fairly well. It was spacious with high ceiling, which making the cooking experience at the kitchen fantastic. The location is easily accessible to South Lake Tahoe/downtown within minutes of driving. The barbecue set at the balcony was awesome! We've gotten some fantastic grilled food out of it.

* I set myself apart from the others by accommodating renters requests. But please understand and do not contact me a couple hours before your check out in hopes of a late check out. All requests should be done before you book or before you check in. For insight on how it works on my side, I have to schedule housekeepers, cleaning companies and hot tub cleaning services in advance of your arrival. All these companies have schedules for the check out days so if you contact me in the middle of the night or an hour before check out I can't always accommodate the request because those services may already have you down to clean right at check out time. *Please read online and in contract. If the house is not pet friendly and you bring your pet you will lose your whole deposit. This has escalated steadily in recent months. Please follow the house rules. Thanks.

I rent on over 50 websites, for whatever reason I am starting to have dozens of problems with Bay area and Silcon Valley airbnb renters when and after they are checking out. The biggest problems are checking out late/checking out way past check out time and leaving the properties absolutely filthy. Your fellow hometown neighbors are giving you all a bad name. Please complete the check out list before you leave the property, please bring your respect and manners from your home to our Lake Tahoe Vacation rental homes. I know everyone is on vacation and want to have a worry and care free time but please pack your common sense with you. Please dont put me in the position of being the bad guy and having to put a hold on your deposit or having to take money out of the deposit to pay for damages and extra cleaning fees. Basically this is how it works, When there is property damage, late check outs that back up the cleaning company, hot tub company, and your fellow airbnb renters from checking in on time in the afternoon I have to pay all these companies by the hour to wait around and or extra time to clean, that of course gets charged on your deposit and passed on to the future renters by having to raise rent prices to compensate for the losses. Its a domino affect. So please for your airbnb community of renters, all vacation renters, and for your future vacation stays please dont be bulls in a china store. Accidents happen and no one is perfect, but I went from only having 2 claims in 7 years from all my websites combined to over 2 dozen just this past year on airbnb. I have been renting since 2007. Please Please, if you have a question, concern, issue, or problem contact me by call, text, email, or airbnb message when you are checking in, during your stay, or checking out. I am hearing about problems days and even weeks after you checked out. I can't help you that late in the game, but I can for sure help you and take care of your needs and wants when you are at the vacation rental. I have staff members, hot tub company, maintenance specialists, and cleaning companies on call 24/7 and I rent over 80 vacation rentals so if there is a problem with your vacation rental I can usually move you to another property.

Best time to get one and ask is during the non holiday weekdays(Sunday - Thursday) and non peak weekends in April, May, October, and November. DURING THESE NON PEAK MONTHS IF YOU BOOK TWO NIGHTS I GIVE YOU THE THIRD NIGHT FREE.

A NEW PROBLEM THAT IS COMING MORE AND MORE PREVALENT IN LAKE TAHOE: A lot of my awesome Lake Tahoe renters are from the Bay Area. I know its a long drive to Tahoe, and when you get here you want to go skiing, to the bars/clubs and casinos, for now on, as of 2/1/2014, if you are planning on checking in late you must contact me and give me your approximate time of arrival, I am having renters show up at 3am trying to check in, its dark, freezing cold, and the majority are coming back from the bars and casinos and having difficulty using the key less lock box. 4pm is check in at all my rentals, I do not care when you check in after 4pm, its your vacation, just please communicate with me when you plan on arriving so either myself or my employees are able to assist you at anytime of the day or night if you are having difficulty finding the address or gaining entrance to the property.
