- The South Austin Popular Culture Center (they feature free art exhibits that are pretty effing awesome)

- Zilker Park (where ACL, The Kite Festival, etc.) are held and trails such as the Greenbelt, and Lady Bird Lake (where you can paddle board, canoe, etc.)

GETTING AROUND
There are plenty of convenient transportation options for our guests, including:

- Bus: We have a bus stop literally AT our apartment complex. It's only $1 and runs about every 30 minutes. The routes can get you pretty much anywhere and everywhere around town, so this is a very convenient option.
- Biking: There are several places you can rent bikes from within 2 miles of our apartment. Many guests choose to rent bikes on Barton Springs Road and ride around Zilker Park or the many other trails in the area. You can also rent bikes for free during SXSW (more info here: (website hidden)).
- Pedi cabbers: There are a TON of pedi cabbers around the area, and while it's not always the cheapest option it's definitely something you should experience while in Austin.
- Services such as Uber and Car2Go are available as well

  • The apartment was clean and comfortable and very conveniently located. It was a short bus ride (that only cost $1) to get downtown. The room was exactly as it was pictured on the listing and Krystal was great about communicating. Bonus: she provided coffee and bagels.

We actually didn't meet Krystal in person, but she was always available via text.
The only thing I wish I would have know prior to booking is that we were sharing the apartment with another airbnb-er.
