On the site of an ancient monastery, the villa opens on a spacious garden encircled by cypresses and pine trees. A gate from the garden leads down to the swimming pool, surrounded by olive trees and with a lovely panorama on Val di Chio.

We had a lovely stay at Gabriele and Gabriela's place. Beautiful home overlooking the neighbouring hills. The attention and lovely welcome by Gabriele and Gabriela was really a treat and made our stay special actually. For once, we did meet our hosts (which doesn't happen very often through airbnb unfortunately)and it was lovely! We really felt like guests without our hosts being too overbearing. We were in the stone cottage, which is quite rustic and simple. The kitchen is well equipped. The place is very quiet. We definitely recommend the place :)

The place is just beautiful. The hosts were very friendly and everything was pretty easy. The garden and pool was shared with another apartement, but there is enough space for each group. This place is highly recommendable!

We had an amazing time at Gabriella's place! We went together with another couple and stayed in the stone villa, which is absolutely gorgeous. Gabrielle has been very helpful and responsive to all of our questions, before and while we were staying there, always coming up with useful suggestions and generally looking after us very well! Both him and Gabriella are lovely and made sure we had all we needed. About the location, all I can say is that the photos just don't do it justice. The view is absolutely stunning - just like an oasis of peace with a view of the romantic Tuscan hills. The best part is that although remote and located on top of a hill, it is so close to nearby attractions such as Cortona, Montepulciano and not least, the very charming Castiglion Fiorentino. Overall, a fantastic stay and all I can say is that we couldn't have chosen any better! Thank you very much to both Gabrielle and Gabriella and we look forward to going back!.

It was the perfect stay, so peaceful and quiet. Gabrielle and her son Gabriel were so warm and welcoming. The house was perfectly positioned with wonderful views and a huge garden and pool. We enjoyed eating out listening to the birds and relaxing. We hope to return again and thank Gabriele and Gabriella for such a perfect and peaceful place to stay, highly recommended.

I was born in the north of Lombardy, close to the Swiss border, where I spent my childhood and adolescence. I moved to Milan to study Law and lived there for over twenty years. I moved to Tuscany with my husband and kids in 1993 and since then I managed to invest more time in the activities I love the most: painting, ceramics and decoration. I am part of the Italian BPW (International Federation of Business and Professional Women) and I was myself president of the local division. I love taking care of my three (well-behaved) dogs and my now 17-year-old cat. We, as a family, have been renting two separate annexes of our villa to English, Dutch and American tourists for over ten years. I now take care of this along with my son. We speak Italian and basic English.
