The Space

OUR HOUSE. Live like a local in a Brooklyn warehouse, conveniently located near Manhattan and Brooklyn’s most famous streets and nightlife. We are Kelly and Tolga — two nice, easy-going best buds, architect and chef — and we live in an apartment in the house, separate from the private guest apartment.

Rent a comfortably-sized, private and secure room in the second floor apartment dedicated to the bed and breakfast. You'll be sharing the house with friendly open-minded New Yorkers who work and live in the city and will happily guide you to spots you might not find on your own. The warehouse features plenty of indoor and outdoor hangout and quiet space for your nights in.

On the ground floor, below the bed and breakfast apartment, is our vibrant art space, Splatterpool — where we hold periodic art exhibits and performances. Our guests have enjoyed the steady flow of friendly and creative energy that this brings into our home. Check out our website for past and upcoming events, which you will be welcome to attend!

OUR NEIGHBORHOOD. The Williamsburg-Greenpoint area is undeniably the most dynamic neighborhood in New York City today. Here you will find the best and most current restaurants, bars and music venues. Our house lies at the crossroads of a few neighborhood hubs where the youth culture and locals mix well with a positive and friendly vibe. Best of all, we are located close to three of the first Brooklyn stops on the L train, which takes you to directly to Union Square in a matter of minutes — for your days of exploring in the big city.

  • I spent a week at Good Iron House. It was a little haven to come home to after mad days in NY. Love the way its done up, it felt like I was in my own place as I only glimpsed my roommate once. All very easy. Thank you Tolga!

  • Good Iron House is a really good place to be. My partner and I were happy to have such a nice apartment, in a quiet and nice neibourhood. We never met Kelly because he was outside NY, but he was concerne about us and our needsall the time by email. At the same time, Tolga was there helping us to feel conmfortable. He was very sweet. I highly recommend this place. Brooklyn rocks!

  • Clean, quiet, in a great part of NYC. I was here for a writing conference in Manhattan and it was not difficult to get from this location to Midtown. The place has a relaxed atmosphere and is nice and orderly. This was a great place to come back to at night.

  • Good Iron House is a great place to hang your hat when visiting NYC - I can't add much to what previous guests have said, but the location is great and the place is very comfortable. I stayed for two weeks and really felt at home. I only encountered Kelly twice but he's a lovely guy and very accommodating. Overall, an excellent experience!

  • Clean, friendly and in perfect location - everything you'd want. Two secure rooms with living space that's easily big enough for four people. Two minutes walk from off licenses and delis, close to the L Train stop for Manhattan, in between Williamsburg and Greenpoint for excellent restaurants and bars. Perfect.
