Experience off-the-grid living and take a break from technology. The treehouse is set up in the pines on our 35 acre property and has an amazing view over pasture, native bush and the ocean. The space
Enjoy a romantic getaway with the special person in your life in this very special place. Perfect for those looking for an adventure, a special experience and not just accommodation.
Inside there is:
• A small, fully equipped kitchen with sink and gas cooktop.
• A beautiful and clean bathroom with hot shower and flushing toilet.
• A comfy built in couch that can be used for snuggling (or an extra guest).
• A queen-sized futon bed in the upstairs loft (with luxury bed linen) with an amazing view out a window to the ocean. We put two duvets on the bed for winter so it’s extra warm and snugly.
• Plenty of battery powered LED lights, and a gas heater for chilly nights (please note the treehouse is fully insulated).
• A small chilly bin fridge as well as a chilly bin (Cool Stool) to help keep your food and drinks cold.
Outside, there is:
• A large deck with an outdoor hot water bath, small table, deck chairs and a BBQ for outdoor dining and relaxing.
We supply:
• Morning Glory organic coffee, tea and sugar, olive oil
• All bed linen, towels, dish cloths, and cleaning products.
• Ecostore NZ shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash
• Candles, magazines and books.
• Bug spray to keep the bugs away
• A detox from technology, if you choose to, there is no mobile coverage at the treehouse but you can connect to WIFI at some spots from the treehouse.
• A UE Bluetooth speaker to listen to your downloaded tunes.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a treehouse, built up (and amongst) the pine trees. If it is windy, the trees will creak around you. Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about windy weather. The treehouse foundations have been built to the specifications of a Registered Structural Engineer and the treehouse has full consent from Council, so the building is safe.
ADVENTUROUS THINGS:
There are lots of adventurous things you can do whilst with us and we've left a few ideas for you in the treehouse. One of these things is a beautiful bush/stream walk (on our property) down towards the cliff/ocean, to a huge old Puriri tree where you can have a picnic. You’ll walk through the field, then through native bush and down to the stream, past a waterfall and then to the Picnic tree. The walk will take you 15 to 20 mins to get there and it’s a moderate to difficult level with downhill/ steep uphill sections. If you want to do this then please bring some suitable walking shoes.
