O apartamento reflete as fotos.
We stayed 4 nights at the apartment and had a great stayed. The apartment were tidy and spacious. We definitely liked the location as it was conveniently located close to Main Street of St Germaine and restaurants. The metro was right at the doorstep and also supermarket right next to the apt.
We stayed at this property for two weeks in May 2015 and had a great experience.
Karla and Julien were both professional and pleasant to deal with. The manual that was emailed to us at the time of finalizing the reservation covered everything we needed to know about the arrangements. Another printed manual in the apartment covered everything we needed to know upon arrival about the property, operating instructions of appliances, the neighborhood, dining/shopping tips, trash removal/recycling, etc. Julien arranged for a dependable driver to meet us in the arrivals hall at the airport (with our name on a sign). The same driver drove us back to the airport very early morning on our departure date. Julien met us at the apartment upon our arrival and walked us through everything we needed to know inside the apartment. Later on during our stay, Karla stopped by to replace a lightbulb in the kitchen. In all, the manner in which this type of arrangement was executed is as good as could be expected.
We traveled to Paris with our two small kids and we were hoping to find an apartment that was centrally located, elegant/chic, yet kid friendly and spacious enough for all four of us. We were hoping to experience Paris, like somebody who lives there. This apartment met all of our criteria and turned out to be the perfect place for “our Parisian experience” for two weeks.
We liked the apartment’s central location in St Germain des Pres. A grocery store is located two doors down and a metro entrance (St Sulpice) is also located on the same block. The printed manual in the apartment pointed us to patisseries, boulangeries, restaurants and farmers markets in close proximity. First thing every morning, one of us walked over to one of the suggested boulangeries or farmers markets to buy our amazing fresh French food for the day. It felt as though we lived like locals while it was just a short stroll (approximately 5-10 minutes) to the Luxembourg garden, St Sulpice church, well-known brasseries (e.g., Les Deux Magots, Cafe Flore, Lipp) and elegant stores of St. Germain des Pres. We were able to stroll a bit further (approximately 20-30 minutes) to places like the Eiffel tower, rue Cler and the Notre Dame cathedral. Easy access to the metro brings the whole Paris region within easy reach. However, because we usually went out with our kids and a stroller in tow, we used taxis more frequently, and rides costed on average approximately 8-12 Euros to most sights.
The apartment is very spacious. In fact, it is hard to imagine staying with kids in a cramped Parisian hotel room, when you experience all the space in this apartment. Since this apartment is located on the 4th floor (5th American), the elevator (albeit tiny, as is typical in apartment buildings of this era) was very useful for our luggage and stroller.
Next time we go to Paris, we’d love to stay here again.
Adorei o apartamento. Muito confortável e iluminado. Perfeita a estrutura para crianças com brinquedos, jogos e DVDs para diverti-los.
Além de ser muito bem localizado.
What a lovely (first) airbnb experience! My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay, and loved the 6eme location for our children (the proximity to the Luxembourg Gardens was especially lovely for the spring). The apartment is huge by Parisian standards, and the classic French details (moldings, marble fireplaces, parquet floors) are exquisite. The kid-friendly bedroom and toys made our children feel right at home. Both Karla + our greeter Julien were very kind and attentive before, during + after our stay! Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay...I highly recommend it.
Great apartment in a great location. Very spacious, comfy beds, lovely shower. 2 metro stations nearby for easy transport. Good cafés and restaurants nearby to eat out. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment.
Apartment was very good. The location on Metro 4 line was very convenient. Getting around the city with three children was easy. Apartment is in a nice neighbourhood. Good cafe's and a Supermarcher right beneath for picking up essentials .
Apartment is good size. Beds clean and comfortable. Sofa is big, but could use a cleaning. Only one toilet.
Overall I would recommend this property. My wife, three kids and set of grandparents stayed and were very comfortable.
