What a lovely (first) airbnb experience! My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay, and loved the 6eme location for our children (the proximity to the Luxembourg Gardens was especially lovely for the spring). The apartment is huge by Parisian standards, and the classic French details (moldings, marble fireplaces, parquet floors) are exquisite. The kid-friendly bedroom and toys made our children feel right at home. Both Karla + our greeter Julien were very kind and attentive before, during + after our stay! Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay...I highly recommend it.
Great apartment in a great location. Very spacious, comfy beds, lovely shower. 2 metro stations nearby for easy transport. Good cafés and restaurants nearby to eat out. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment.
Apartment was very good. The location on Metro 4 line was very convenient. Getting around the city with three children was easy. Apartment is in a nice neighbourhood. Good cafe's and a Supermarcher right beneath for picking up essentials .
Apartment is good size. Beds clean and comfortable. Sofa is big, but could use a cleaning. Only one toilet.
Overall I would recommend this property. My wife, three kids and set of grandparents stayed and were very comfortable.
A really great place to stay in the 6th. Light and spacious, comfy beds, and an enormous bath.
We enjoyed our stay at Karla's apartment. The apartment was bright and spacious.
Some reviews commented on the lack of hot water but we had no problems even with 5 adults.
The location is great and we had no problems with noise.
The host's agent was very helpful.
We were really happy with our choice of apartment.
The place was great. You'd be hard-pressed to find a more central location in Paris. You can walk or metro to everything. We walked every day in the Luxembourg gardens which are only about a block away.
We were met at the apartment and given a quick tour and it's all as you'd wish and pretty obvious.
Despite being on a pretty main street it was fairly quiet - you'll here some street cleaning and garbage collection in the wee hours but it wasn't bad.
The cafe nearby is very good and there's a fun high-end pizza place called Pizza Chic that tends to require reservations but it's worth it.
We loved the location of this property which was a few steps from St Sulpice metro station on a direct line to Gare de nord, making the journey to and from the eurostar very straightforward. The area had interesting shops and felt quite safe. The flat was very bright, spacious, warm and quiet. The small lift was good for getting the cases up to the flat which is up several flights of a spiral staircase. My 80 year old mum also used the lift! We used the flat as a base for exploring. In the evenings we'd nip to the local market and buy delicious french cheese or go to some of the good restaurants nearby. We found eating out in Paris quite expensive so to have the flexibility to self cater was very good. We were aware of previous comments about very low water pressure in the shower and small bed sizes in 3rd bedroom - so we were prepared for that. Despite those issues it is still a great flat and we would book it again.
