We felt that Rachel went above and beyond during our stay at Kendal. She was there to welcome us, and showed us around the house which is lovely and very well located. She was also kind enough to provide us with a map of Kendal that she slipped under our bedroom door. The room was big and clean, as was the bathroom. We had a peaceful time in Kendal and would definitely recommend staying with Rachel to all!
Thanks Rachel for your comments, it is important to me as a host living separately that guests still feel welcomed and that they can ask me for any information they need. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you had a lovely time catching up with your relations. Thank you and Karlo for being great guests. Enjoy your travels...
We very much enjoyed our stay at Kendal. Rachel's place was easy to find and in an excellent location. She was extremely friendly and welcoming and filled us in with lots of useful information. The house was very tastefully decorated and was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed, and we enjoyed the fact that there was a washing machine for our use.
Thank you Rosemary I'm glad you enjoyed the apartment and the location. It's always a balance between letting people get on with it and giving lots of information about things to do and see, especially if visitors are only here for one day, so I'm pleased you found the information useful. It's important for me that my guests know I'm on hand to answer any queries they may have. I hope the rest of your travels go well. Thanks for coming and being excellent guests.
Hi Rachel, thank for having myself and my partner in your lovely place. We truly enjoyed our stay. We found your rooms to be large and cosy with all that we needed. It was also great to be able to have full use of the kitchen. We found the place to clean as well as private. Thank you again.
Rachel's apartment was the perfect place for us to stay as we explored the Lake District. A minute's walk from the center of Kendal (and right below Kendal Castle), this shared apartment offers three spacious bedrooms and a great communal kitchen. Rachel was an excellent host, had lots of good information about the area, and was always prompt in replying to our messages. Highly recommended!
Rachel was a perfect host. Accommodating and flexible, she had great local knowledge and kept in touch with us to see how we were doing. The location was perfect, such a quick walk into town and practically in the shadow of the castle and some stunning views! The rooms were spacious, clean - the beds were incredibly comfy! - and the kitchen had everything you needed for a couple of days stay. Highly recommended!
I had a lovely stay and Rachel was very welcoming and helpful. The room was gorgeous with beautiful furnishings and also warm and cosy. The situation was great for walking and enjoyed a walk up to the castle on Sunday morning to take in the amazing views. I hope to re-visit in November with a friend. Thank you Rachel!
