furnished 1BR apartment (Logan!)

Apartment - Entire home/apt · N Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20005, United States

The Space

Professionally cleaned, spacious one bedroom apartment with wood floors, comfortable full size bed, high-quality furniture, multiple closets, fast internet, high quality sound system, basement washer/dryer, shower/bathroom, and spacious kitchen and living area. All linens and towels provided.

For business travelers, this location is ideal because of access to Red and Blue line metros, airports, the Convention Center and downtown offices and hotels (I walk to my office next to the White House daily!). For folks visiting friends or the tourist sites, the location is walkable to Smithsonian museums, Dupont Circle and many other attractions.

This building is also at the start of the most vibrant and growing neighborhood in DC. According to the Washington Post in July 2013, at least 25 new restaurants, bars and theatre spaces have opened in the neighborhood in the last nine months. In my opinion, you are within ten minute walk you have the best restaurant (Estadio), bar (Churchkey), grocery store (Whole Foods), gym (Vida) andcoffee shop (Peregrine) in town :)

Finally, if you are visiting in the summer, the roof top pool is open 12PM - 8PM. Its a great place to hang out, bring a picnic and generally enjoy the view of DC!

nb: The place accommodates three but there is only one bed so extra folks can sleep on air mattress or extremely large and comfortable couch

Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Our trip to Washington got cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control. When I notified Josh, with four days notice, he said he could not refund any of our money, or reschedule our stay. I understand that this is a money maker for Josh and Suzy, however, I hoped they would work with us on this. Instead, I am out $250 dollars for nothing. I am very let down by this and do not recommend them.

  • Great location, close to restaurants, bars and wholefoods is only 2 blocks away for groceries.
Easy walk to city attractions and overall a great part of Washington to stay in.
As per Lauren in her review, the bed is quite cosy and is a double bed (for any Aussies wanting to stay).
Josh & his sister Laura were very helpful & responded to our queries very quickly.

  • My first AirBNB experience was fine! Josh's apartment was clean and quiet, with all the needed stuff. The location was great - walking distance to white House area as well as Dupont Circle - my destination. And Josh's sister was a great help.

  • Great location and easy to get to. All the restaurants and bars were amazing. The place was clean and the ac was just what we needed in a quick trip to DC. Josh responses were always quick. Thanks for a great stay!

  • The apartment was bigger than expected and in a great location, safe and quiet. Loads of shops and restaurants nearby. A good starting point to visit the city walking. We hardly used the metro.
Thank you for letting us leave our suitcases in after check-out.
The place needed cleaning though, the bathroom especially was dirty.

    Response from Josh & Suzy:

Apologies for the dirty bathroom! This is the first report of this I have heard and it won't happen again. I've been on the road but have already had the cleaners come so the place is spotless!

  • Great place to stay. well situated. easy to get around.
Not used to boiling a kettle on a stove (we use Electric ones!). DC was hot when we were there.....
Had a great bike tour of the city
some simple printed instructions in a folder would be helpful. Where to empty rubbish. Any other expectations, etc
    Overall highly recommended

  • Josh's place is great. It was clean and bigger than expected. Their are good bars and really good restaurants near the building (we highly recommend the Estadio). The location is perfect and allowed us to go everywhere by foot.
Josh is also a great host, kind and quick to reply, providing all the informations you'll need.
    Thanks !

  • Josh's place is very nice, the building, the location, etc the apartment is more bigger that the pictures shows. We are a lovely time there and Josh was a great host and very easy to communicate with. The neighborhood is great, safe, center and there are a lot cool places near. We highly recommend to stay here.

  • Loved the location of Josh's apartment! There are many great places in Logan Circle itself, and you're in walking distance to U Street and DuPont Circle. Comfy couches + double bed + AC + full apartment to yourself...just what I was looking for!

If you stay here, I'd recommend going to Curchkey for a unique IPA; Le Diplomate (custard French toast) or Commissary for brunch and Little Serow for AMAZING Thai food.

    Thanks again, Josh!
