One of Crestone's most stunning adobe homes, the Goldmine sits on two private wooded acres at the base of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. It is a rare find -- equal parts luxurious and deeply peaceful.

The space
Wake to mountain views from your deck. Cook on a classic Aga stove. Steam in the ensuite sauna shower. Soak in a large bathtub with views of nature to the east and north. Practice yoga, meditation, or dance in a dedicated second-floor studio with 360-degree valley views. Fall asleep to absolute quiet and wake to wildlife outside your window.

Two luxurious master suites, a fully stocked kitchen, and a fold-out couch upstairs sleep up to six. The first master suite features a queen bed, dresser, and large bathtub with east and north-facing windows looking out to nature. The second suite includes a workstation and ensuite steam sauna shower, ideal for writers and those who need to stay productive. Stone paths wind through a private walled garden. The night sky here is something you will not forget.

About Our Exceptional Kitchen Stove: It features several ovens that maintain consistent temperatures, making it ideal for various cooking methods like baking, roasting, and simmering. The various ovens in an AGA cooker are kept at different temperatures, providing versatility in cooking. For instance, the top oven is usually hotter and suitable for roasting, while the lower oven is cooler, perfect for baking. This unique method results in flavorful meals as the food cooks from all sides, creating a deliciously tender and moist finished product.
