Bonnie's home is warm and inviting and the room is clean, sunny and quiet. The neighborhood is peaceful, just across from a golf course, though it is not near the center of town. Bonnie is a lovely host and I highly recommend this listing for anyone who wants some getaway time in Santa Rosa. The bathroom is shared with other guests but is kept spartan and clean.
Bonnie is a wonderful host. She is friendly, generous, loving and genuinely interested in people. Her home is situated in a quiet area outside Santa Rosa across from a small public golf course and very near the Charles M. Schultz regional airport. Very convenient location for travelers with many options for hiking, nature walking, and city life. I was in residence for two months and felt totally accepted. My privacy was respected and yet I was encouraged to participate in family dinners, outings to a local park if I so desired. Thank you Bonnie! Much love and gratitude to you. Hi to Jen, Izabella, and Mike.
Bonnie is an amazing hostess, my boyfriend and I stayed with her for about two weeks while we were transitioning to a new living situation. The room was large and comfortable, has a desk, two closets and a large dresser. There's also storage for you food in the kitchen. The sleeping quarters are separated from the living areas so when her and Izi her granddaughter wake, they won't wake you too. We had a delightful stay!
Awesome host and a brilliant room. Bonnie was the kindest host I have met so far. I reached around midnight and she greeted me with smiles!
Living in Bonnie's home was more like joining a family than staying in a hotel. Bonnie is extremely gracious and constantly went out of her way to make me feel at home. Every day when I came back to the house I noticed myself feeling relaxed and happy to be there. There's one bathroom shared by all of the guests but during my month living there I never found it to be a problem. The view outside the bedroom window is green and pretty.
There is nothing in walking distance so you'll need a car. There's a fantastic nature reserve (Shiloh) five minutes away that's great for hiking.
I care about the Internet connection speed so I measured it for you:
ping: 27 ms
down: 7.61 Mbps
up: 1.42 Mbps
We had a great experience! We felt comfortable, safe and the location was perfect! The fact that we had full access to the kitchen was awesome. Although 2 other rooms were being rented as well, we never had a problem sharing the one restroom. Even if the restroom was being used, Bonnie offered her private restroom too. We really enjoyed ourselves. The fruit and chocolate basket in the room was the cherry on top!
We had a wonderful experience with Bonnie as our welcoming hostess, felt like we were staying with family. Lovely home. Photo is perfect representation of the excellent sunny room we enjoyed. Great quiet location in Santa Rosa near everything. We hope to come back again :) A+

I love my house it is airy and light and inviting with lots of windows in a wonderful neighborhood where I can take long walks in beautiful surroundings.
