My House is under the jungle canopy in a natural relaxing environment. House has private full bathroom with hot water. This is as pure raw jungle as you can get. It is possible to see groups of 100 monkeys passing over the canopy. We have no neighbors for miles and our property backs the vast Quintana Roo National Park. We have a secure locked gated driveway. Come and enjoy peace and solitude away from the noisy sounds of town and the crowded beach rentals .Get in touch with nature we have a 2.5 mile long trail leading to the back of the property and into Quintana Roo National Park. It winds thru unexplored pristine jungle where it passes several small Cenotes ,you still have a chance to find Mayan Ruins this part of the jungle is unexplored. I am only 10 minutes from Tulum,15 minutes from the beach,4 minutes from nearest Cenote. I have a outdoor kitchen on site for your use fully equiped with everything you need to cook Fresh towels are provided. There is a small Mayan Village two miles from us where there are several stores and cafes. Getting around here is very easy we have bicycles for rent $5 per day, or Colectivos drive by every 20 minutes $3 U.S. one way Tulum or a taxi to Tulum is $8 U.S. We also have plenty of gated, safe secure parking for rental cars.
We had a fantastic time with Ara and Allen (and Basha the amazing pooch!) The cabana was immaculate, comfortable, and welcoming and Ara, Allen and Basha were incredibly hospitable and endearing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated all of the attention to details - from drawing out maps of their favorite spots to joining us on a hike to show the area. You will love staying with Ara and Allen. Outdoor shower - wonderful - look up to forest and sky! Cooking - easy - perfect setup. Cabana - comfortable and practical with a decorative flair that feels welcoming and cozy. Private and a personal jungle getaway. Easy drive to Tulum's beaches and downtown as well as convenient to other sites like monkey sanctuary, a ton of cenotes, and an easy drive to Chichen Itza.
Jungle Cabana is a precious find for those seeking an intimate experience in the jungle. Secluded, secure, and simple. Great as a low budget experience for trekkers and backpackers. Complete outdoor kitchen, which is the only way to go on a budget. For those wanting a more comfortable experience, the rustic stone house with indoor bath is all you need. Gracious hosts, knowledgeable of many local interesting places to visit. You can't beat Jungle Cabana for a great place to stay.
We stayed one night with Ara and Allen in their jungle paradise but we loved it. It was so beautiful and extremely close to the cenotes. Ara made us a yummy coffee cake the next morning and Allen gave us directions to a gorgeous white sand beach. When we return to Quintana Roo next year I can't wait to stay at their cabana again.
Ara & Alan,
You two are wonderful hosts, really caring, loving and considerate. The jungle setting is beautiful, I fell in love with Basha their dog, and it is quite a unique and amazing experience.
thanks for everything!

We had such a wonderful time staying with Ara and Allen and will always remember this magical trip here! Before arriving, we were a little concerned about not being right on the beach or really in the city for that matter, and that the place had no previous reviews (as we were among the first guests to stay here) but as soon as we arrived, all worries were put to rest after meeting these warm, inviting hosts and discovering just how peaceful it was being surrounded by such raw and beautiful nature. The place really is in the jungle but close enough to drive or catch a cab to the beach/ town of Tulum and also see a lot of great sights that we might have otherwise missed had we only stayed on the beach the whole time. The Gran Cenote is right around the corner, some picturesque, traditional Mayan villages are just a couple kilometers away, and different ruins and even a monkey sanctuary are not far at all from this location. There really is so much to do and see here and we simply had a wonderful time staying here. It was a great escape for us and we're already planning our trip back to come stay with Ara and Allen again. Thanks again you two for such a memorable experience!!
