Other Things to Note
Although we have an Edwardsburg, MI address, we are only 1000 feet into Michigan on the Indiana border, and less than 8 miles from the ND campus. If you want to look at a map - look for Granger, IN, as we are 1/2 mile north of Granger.
We chose this rental for a mini reunion with our kids based on location and amenities. We were not disappointed. The lower level game room included all kinds of options to keep us entertained. There was also a comfortable seating area and a big screen TV to catch a movie (they have a lot of dvd’s to choose from). The bedrooms were located at the back end of the home which provided a sense of privacy, they were also comfortable and uniquely decorated. One of the things that was important to us was use of the kitchen to cook dinner; Janella made everything available that we needed to prepare our meals. We have a great deal of respect for other people’s property and made sure to clean-up after ourselves and treat the home as if it were our own. The owners, Janella and Irv, were very friendly and accommodating hosts with a lot of interesting history. We did not lack for anything that we needed. For folks who enjoy meeting people and interacting with their hosts, this is the place for you! On a side note, if you are looking for a good lunch spot the Fiddler's Hearth in South Bend was fun and the food was great.
