Great Junior One Bedroom in one of the best neighborhoods in New York. Steps from park, museum, botanical gardens, bars, restaurants, movies, theater, and Barclay Center. Perfect for one, cozy for two. Near two subway lines (3 min and 5 min walk).
Apartment is on Union Street, one of the main thoroughfares in Park Slope, but is in the back of the building, so noise in not an issue at all. Absolutely perfect location. If you look at the map you'll see I'm literally across the street from Grand Army Plaza and Prospect Park (Brooklyn Museum of Art and Botanical Garden) and minutes from 7th and 5th Avenues, the main commercial streets in Park Slope. Apartment is typical New York Junior One Bedroom (studio with a portion sectioned off by French Doors), 400 sq ft which is perfect for one and cozy for two.
Apartment has a full bath, small kitchen, satellite and internet tv, wi fi, full size bed, fresh sheets and towels, A/C, and a guitar (probably out of tune) which you are welcome to play.
If apartment is available it will most likely be because I am out of town, but I'm available to answer any questions via text, email or phone. I can try to schedule my departure to coordinate with your arrival.
Very diverse multi-cultural neighborhood. Full range of entertainment, cultural, and culinary options within walking distance and Manhattan about 30 minutes away by subway.
The 2, 3, B, and Q trains are all within minutes by foot. Taxis are available on 7th and 5th Ave and Flatbush. There are also car services available. I usually use Legends or Arecibo. If you're in the city and don't feel like taking the subway home (I usually always do) it's about a $20 taxi ride home depending on what part of the city you're in. There are a multitude of eating, shopping, drinking, museum, theater, and film options all within walking distance. Barclay Center (site of the infamous Miley Cyrus performance) just opened recently and is about a 15 minute walk away.
If you're coming from Newark Airport or JFK public transportation is available which brings you almost to my door. I would recommend a taxi if coming from La Guardia. There is public transportation, but it's not very convenient from there.
There is free parking on the street, although weekends can be tricky. There is a public parking garage three buildings up the street from my building.
I've been in my apartment for more than 10 years! It's not large, but it's very cute and cozy. I really feel comfortable here, and I think you will too.

We had a wonderful time staying in Randys apartment. The apartment has everything you need and looks exactly like in the pictures. The house is located in an excellent part of brooklyn. 2 metro stops are just around the corner and there are lots of restaurants, supermarkets, bars etc. just a block away. We stayed for a whole week and would definetly stay again in his apartment.
