I stayed in Bill's apartment for a little over a month while I started a new job in State College. It was perfect. The location was great (a very short walk to campus), clean and just enough space for me. Bill was very friendly and made me feel welcome. I would highly recommend Bill's apartment.
William is friendly and a very good host. Extremely helpful and he knows His way around State College! The apartment was clean and very functional. More amenities than a hotel!
I spent three months here while doing research at Penn State and had a wonderful experience. The apartment is in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood, close to both campus and a trail system for my morning runs. My hosts were very kind and definitely made me feel welcome. I was given a tour of State College on my first day which really helped me get my bearings. The apartment was very comfortable and made for a lovely home away from home. William was very helpful and responsive. I would definitely stay here again!
Bill and his cozy one bedroom apartment couldn't be beat on a game weekend in State College. We were up for a football game and the location was perfect. The apartment was within easy walking distance to both the stadium and downtown and provided the perfect home base for a weekend full of activities.
The apartment itself is small but suitable for a short stay and includes all the amenities. There is no living room or common space which would be nice on a longer visit, but with a great location it's not a deal breaker by any means. The eat-in kitchen allowed us to cook small meals and the entire apartment was very well kept.
Bill was absolutely wonderful. He was always very responsive to any communication and didn't hesitate to accommodate our arrival and departure schedule restrictions. We were pleasantly surprised to find a fridge lightly stocked with some breakfast items although we came prepared with our own.
A fantastic apartment with a host to suite, a win-win on a football weekend!
The stay was great! William made us feel welcome and was flexible with our arrival time. The apartment was just as good as advertised. The room was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Additionally, the kitchen was stocked with bagels, cream cheese, coffee, orange juice, and milk. That was really great and unexpected!
We went for a football game and the location is great. It was about a 15 minute walk to the tailgating. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet, but right next to campus, so the location is ideal.
