This private studio apartment is modern and cozy. You are near the pool and nestled under a large walnut tree. There is space for you to store your bikes and luggage. You can walk or drive downtown in minutes to the Russian River Brewery.
The studio is a newly built unit that on the outside looks like an authentic 1940's garage, and on the inside is a modern and quaint studio apartment. In the Summer months you can enjoy our backyard and swimming pool (with a great tube style water slide!) The unit is detached from the main house and very well insulated. I think you'll see from our many wonderful reviews that guests love our poolside studio. The pool area & pool house is shared between myself and my family and other Airbnb guests who are staying in the house, but you will find that it is rarely used and you will most likely experience much privacy poolside.
** Please note that to access the bathroom you will be stepping outside the apartment for literally one step. This is via the pool room, not the outdoors. The bathroom is only yours, not shared with any other guests.
There is a market 1 block away, Santa Rosa's Historic Railroad Square is a mere 8 block walk, and downtown Santa Rosa (RUSSIAN RIVER BREWERY) is a mile away- a 20 minute walk.
Our listings include a 12% local "hotel tax" for stays shorter than 30 days, this is included in the nightly price already- not added on later.
Your studio has a full kitchen and bath (no bathtub, just a shower). You also have access to the shared pool room space, and the pool itself.
Please ask before inviting guests over to swim.
Interaction with Guests
I don't interact much with studio guests, if we run into each other we just chat for a few moments. I am happy to be of assistance so you are free to message me anytime, I am right next door. You might see other Airbnb guests, me and my family, or my neighbors during pool season at the pool, and in the small pool room by your unit. The pool is a big hit with all and you are very welcome to join in on swimming time anytime!
I love that my neighborhood is so close to Hwy 101 & Hwy 12, Historic Railroad Square and Downtown. Our street is very secluded and private, a dead end road that many locals don't know it exists even though it's so close to town. I am friends with many of my neighbors and feel incredibly safe here.
You are very close to Hwy 101 which runs North & South, Hwy 12 that runs East & West, and within walking distance to downtown Santa Rosa. Santa Rosa has Lyft & Uber services as well as public transportation and traditional taxi cabs. There is little wait for taxi services and there is a bus stop a block from my house and the main bus terminal is a 20 minute walk. You can easily find wine tour info, many of the tour busses pick up at the Hyatt which is a 10 minute walk from here.
THE DOG: The most important rule is do not let my dog out any side gates in the back yard! She is very excited and friendly and will run up to the gate when you arrive, you must enter rather quickly so she doesn’t slip out! Her name is Olive.
THE CAT: She can go in or out as she pleases. Her name is Jewell.
NOISE: Please be respectful of other guests, myself, and our neighbors and keep it down after 10:00 PM and before 9:00 AM. Be especially aware of how much noise you make in the driveway since the 2 guest rooms inside the main house are right on the driveway.
Justine was very accomodating and we loved the room. We had a nice dip in the solar-heated pool one day, which was relaxing in our hectic schedule. The location was perfect for our needs. We have lots of family nearby and we visited with all of them, using the studio as a very welcome home base.
The wonderful Olive, a Boston terrier, was a delight!
We absolutely loved our stay at Justine's!
This was our first Air BnB experience and it was excellent. Her pool side studio is a welcoming, cute, quiet and charming place! We especially loved our visit with Jewell the three-legged cat and Olive the smiling dog! We loved the town of Santa Rosa too! The people were all very welcoming, the food was great and our wine tasting adventures were better than we imagined. Raymond Burr Vinyards in Healdsburg and Fog Crest Winery in Sebastopol were especially excellent! We enjoyed dinners at Lococco's (Italian) and Stark's (Steak and Seafood) in Railroad Square.
Again, we can't say enough good things! If you're looking for a very unique and fun experience in California wine country come stay here!
We enjoyed the studio so much. Your style is incredible and you have created such an amazing environment there. Thank you very much for having us we loved it!
Justine was extremely accommodating to our needs. The place was fantastic and the yard was beautiful, and provided enough privacy for our family. I would definitely stay again and recommend to our friends. Two thumbs up.
Extremely pleasant experience. Justine provided everything I needed, was very helpful and always quick to reply to any questions. This was my first AirBnb experience and it was made easy thanks to Justine.
Justine's studio is so beautiful. She did an amazing job decorating the place. I would move in here in a heartbeat.
My friends and I stayed for a weekend. We had breakfast at the pool and enjoyed the cozy set-up in the garden.
Thank you Justine for such a wonderful experience.
My friends and I recently stayed at this awesome poolside studio while touring California. It was our favorite stay of the trip, lots of open air and light, access to the pool was a plus too. Justine was an excellent host, very hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed for our unforgettable trip. Thanks Justine!
