Our charming home is the place to stay in Negombo! The house is in a quiet street, centrally located and offers space for 6 people in three double rooms. Our typical Sri Lankan house is gently renovated and the rooms are simple, clean and comfortable.
Located in a very central place in Negambo, only 15 minutes away from the Colombo Air Port.
Three double rooms with common bathroom facilities including hot water and fan for a comfortable stay are available. In the wonderful kitchen you will get a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast.
With a three-wheeler you can explore the Negambo fish market, the beach, nice hotels and the main bus stand. Amman- Pillaiyar- and Khali Tempel are located in the same street.
Guests can use free wireless internet.
There is always cool botteld water in the kitchen.

We have stayed with Isabel in law's for the last night on our Sri Lanka trip as a base for heading to the airport. Its a perfect place for the first or last night in Sri Lanka (15 min by tuk tuk from/to the airport). The house is very nice and clean with huge bathroom :). Hosts were VERY nice and easy going. Breakfast was perfect!
We had a flight in the middle of the night so the hosts let us leave the bags at their place - which was really helpful. They also organized tuk tuk driver for us at 1am. Thank you so much for your hospitality! Very much appreciate.
My husband and I had a very short stay but Isabel's in-laws were wonderful! We got in late and had to leave early the next morning for the airport; they waited up for us and then also got up with us and even had tea ready! They also set up a tuk tuk to take us to the airport. Again, a fantastic stay and welcoming couple! The ride to the airport only took about 20 minutes!
If you need a place to stay close to the airport and close to some local shops this is a great place to stay. The hosts are very nice and breakfast was delicious.
We had a lovely stay here and felt very welcome. The house is a bit hidden in a small side street, but we had no trouble finding it (print out the pictures & map). The room is clean, has a very nice bed & mattress (we had much worse beds in more expensive places in Sri Lanka) and the bathroom has a huge European style shower. It is a typical Sri Lanka home stay, where a family rents out a room in their private home. The breakfast is indeed delicious!!!
We would definitely recommend it for your start & beginning of your trip as it is close to the airport.
Endroit très sympathique.
Des hôtes très accueillant.
Isabels family were wonderful - very friendly and welcoming. The room was great - clean and neat, with a very comfy bed! Bathroom was also one of the best I've seen in Sri Lanka!
I had some great tea, and ate some tasty mango!
I woke up a few hours early though as there was some noise from the temple.. but I'm used to that now in Sri Lanka :)
I would definitely stay there again, felt very welcome and safe.
Isabel was very helpful and constantly in contact with me prior to my stay. Very nice lady!
A nice stay was had at Daya's, we arrived late after an unexpectedly long journey and our hosts were very welcoming and accommodating.
Comfortable room, lovely house and hosts and great big breakfast. Would recommend!
Nice place to stay the first night. Very nice hosts and cheap. They dont speak much english but you can connect to Isabel (son's girlfriend) and she will give you further information.
It was good that we had the phone number, since it's a tad difficult to find. After we arrived safely with the help of a Tuktuk-driver, we immediately felt very welcome.
The place is clean with a spacious living room shared with the family and a super-luxurious bathroom. The great breakfast prepared us for the day and the little snacks for the further train drive were delicious.
