5937 Britton Drive is located in the Village of McClure, which is part of the newer, rapidly growing southern section of The Villages (south of SR-44). This area offers a very different feel from the north, featuring modern infrastructure, expansive nature preserves, and "resort-style" amenities.

1. Recreation Centers
• McClure Neighborhood Recreation Center: Located right within the village, this is your closest spot for a quick dip in the neighborhood pool (usually adult-only), as well as bocce, shuffleboard, and horseshoe pits.
• Everglades Recreation Complex: This is the "crown jewel" of the southern area and is just a short golf cart ride away. It is a massive, nature-themed complex featuring a resort-style pool, a large "soccer" field for various sports, pickleball courts, a softball complex, and the Arbor Activity Center.
• Willow Tree Recreation Center: Also nearby in the neighboring Village of Marsh Bend, offering another beautiful pool and gathering space.
2. Golf
• Lowlands Executive Golf Course: This is the closest course to McClure, offering a beautiful layout that winds through the natural landscape.
• Southern Oaks Championship Golf Course: Located just to the south, this is one of the newest and most expansive championship courses in The Villages.
