I travel extensively throughout the year and therefore my apartment stands empty most of the time. It's stylish and modern, fully furnished with beautiful city & harbor views. It has a rooftop pool deck, gym and entertainment area with 360 degree views of the Mother City & Table Mountain. It's within walking distance of the Castle of Good Hope, Parliament and other major attractions, not to mention grocery stores etc. It's fully equipped with free WiFi, air conditioning, 42' plasma TV with satellite channels as well as a clothes washing machine & drying rack. For those aspiring chefs I have a fully equipped kitchen (knives, forks, spoons, bowls plates, cups, glasses, pots, pans, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, 4-burner hob & oven etc.). Also features a sleeper couch should you need to accommodate 1-2 extra people (perfect for kids). 24 hour manned security with access control and a secure parking bay for 1 vehicle. I know that when I travel, internet is not a luxury, it's a necessity - that's why my WiFi internet is 100% free – no extra or hidden fees.
My goal is to make sure that you have an awesome experience and can focus on the important stuff, like your vacation - not worry about accommodation! I look forward to chatting with you!

Skye's apartment is definitely right for certain types of travelers. I would recommend this apartment for short stays for single travelers or close couples. There is not a fully solid wall in between the bedroom and main area, so you are never have full privacy - which is why I don't recommend this for travelers who would like to get some space from each other.
The area is also not ideal for longer stay. District 6 has a few things that you can do, like the Fort, District 6 museum, and a few bars and restaurants. It is also close to Long Street, which has lots of bars, clubs, and restaurants. Which makes this apartment nice for short stay. For a longer stay, however, I would recommend Sea Point or Green Point if you want a larger variety of things to do.
My only major and significant criticism of Skye's apartment is that it is not well stocked. We stayed here for a week and there was no extra toilet paper, garbage bags, or washing powder. A main reason why I use Airbnb is so that it does feel like home. But having to buy my own toilet paper when Im on vacation is a bit too close to being at home.
Overall this apartment is very nice and very well kept, but I would only recommend it for certain types of travelers.

My stay in this apartment was absolutely perfect. The price I paid for the quality of the accommodation is second to none. The apartment is extremely Central interview at the top of the building is breathtaking especially at night. The swimming pool is also welcome after a long hot day visit in Cape Town. The only thing is loud and inefficient air conditioner but that didn't really bother me in April as there was also a fan in the bedroom which was enough to keep me cool.
Skye was super helpful and super nice although he lives in the US he always made a point to respond as quick as possible. I would rent again this space with no reservations what so ever. Thanks again for an amazing stay in your beautiful city.

Nous avons passé toutefois un excellent séjour car Cap Town et ses alentours sont vraiment magnifiques.
Skye's place was just like in the pictures, clean and conveniently located. I really appreciated the wifi service. It did get hot at times but the air condition and the fan came in handy.
Syke is a very nice landlord. Very nice and always prompt with answers. The hand-over of keys through an agency works in a frictionless way and lasts only few seconds. The building is very central in the middle of the city. Directly at the building the multi-storey car park is connected. This is also guarded. The reception bordered 24 hours is very friendly and helps with finding the apartment and explaining the security|safety shortly in the house. The state|condition of the apartment is in order. Beautiful furniture in good repair. The internet connection worked impeccably. Also trifles as hair electric hairdryer, irons and many things more is available. Unfortunately negatively one must carry that the beautiful view to the harbor is not more possible through a new building directly in front of the lens. We were in February there. The very warm weather heated up the apartment on 30 degrees. The air conditioning system does not create it unfortunately more than to chill 3 degrees. As a whole we would recommend the apartment, however, onto everyone

Secure building. Convenient parking. 24 hour check-in/out was appreciated, but a bit of a pain since it is at a different location.
Overall location was fine as there are two nice coffee shops, a grocery store, and some restaurants very near. Good highway access if driving.
Our biggest problem is that the A/C couldn't cool the apartment below 28C so we had to sleep naked with the fan blowing on us to get some rest. It was very uncomfortable and this alone made us wish we were at a hotel. We read previous reviews that noted the A/C as an issue, but we were assured it would not be a problem - unfortunately, it definitely was - the unit simply can't cool the apartment.
View from the window due to the construction is a real eye-sore. The roof top pool was very cloudy. This may be fine, but we are used to clear pools in Canada where you can see the bottom.
The Wifi regularly disconnected and we were without wifi at all during our last two days.
The wind shook the windows thoroughly and we couldn't have them open during the day as the sun blasted in and it got far too hot, so it was often quite dark in the apartment.
Skye was a prompt communicator, and property management cleaned the apartment and provided a bottle of water, fresh towels, and other amenities which was great.
Building hallways smell of smoke and often marijuana as well.
The kitchen was a bit tricky to cook in as well as there was only one frying pan and it appeared to have been mauled by a tiger.
Overall was fine, and I'm sure you would have an O.k. time here, but it was a below average stay for us due to the A/C and wifi situations.

Compact apartment, no noise problems. WiFi was as fast as any place in SA. Sat TV had movies and sport channels no music though.
Location, on the edge of the CBD. A few shops and place to eat close by and about 10mins walk from Long Street. Easy access to the towns motorways.
Skye was very good at communications.
Downside, the AC unit needs replacing. It's a portable unit with no drain so it only run for a couple of hours, it is also very noisy and under capacity for the room size. We lived without it but in few weeks at the height of summer it will be a different story as the apartment gets direct sunlight all day.
The great view has also being partially destroyed by the construction work next door. It looks like the construction company has gone bust so it won't get any worse.
Overall I would recommend the place if he gets the AC replaced we were lucky as the weather was mostly cool but if it had been hot we would have been very uncomfortable.
