About This Listing
My husband and I rent out a private bedroom (1 full size bed) in our home. It is a 101 year old Victorian, built by my husband's great grandfather. The home has a unique antique style and warmth that you'll love!
Our cozy antique Victorian displays what homes used to be like in San Francisco. It's a 3 story home with 1 available bedroom for rent, awesome antique decor, large kitchen, living room, dining room, and backyard with a garden and a view. Outside the hustle bustle but close enough to walk to public transit.
For your entertainment purposes our two year old kitten will not disappoint.
We work during the day so we are home in the mornings and evening. But always available via airbnb app and phone text for bar/restaurant recommendations and tourist information. We love to share our beautiful city and enjoy helping you have the best stay you possibly could have.
2 min. walk to the bus, 5 min. walk to the muni, and 20 min. walk to Bart.
Check in anytime, even during the night. Key given with 24 hour access.
Interaction with Guests
We love to meet and greet our guests, but respect your privacy too!
We live in a cozy family friendly neighborhood. It is quiet and safe. Just below Diamond Heights and above the Mission district, we're nestled in quiet and sunny Noe Valley!
Our home is located 1 block from the 24 bus line that cuts across the city and 3 blocks to the J Muni line that goes through the mission toward downtown and the embarcadero.
Other Things to Note
Btw, we just added a memory foam mattress topper to our guest room bed. Enjoy!
Drinking and dining is expected but no crazy parties ;)
We had a very good stay in Théa's house ! The house is really beautiful and very well located, in a good neighbourhood, close to public transportations to go in all the places you want to visit in the town. And the bed was really comfortable!! Théa is a great host, very accomodating, and I strongly recommand her house !
Thea was prompt with answers to my queries prior to booking. We had a really good stay over the memorial day weekend; Thea and Carlos were out of town and we pretty much had the house to ourselves. The area is quiet and the immediate neighbours gave us recommendations for lunch when we arrived. There were decent food places 3 streets down, and that's where we took the public tram that brought us to the city centre.
Shinjuku, the house cat was great company in the mornings and at night, slightly weary of us strangers but nonetheless friendly :)
Point to note - Missions is about a 30 min walk from the house .. it's nice to explore the neighbourhood on foot if the weather ain't too cold.
Thea and her husband were very friendly hosts. We were very busy most of our SF stay and weren't really home much but whenever we were, we felt welcome. The room (and the whole house) was super nice, I loved staying there. Everything was clean, comfortable bed, cute cat and even chocolate on our pillows when we arrived. The Noe Valley area is pretty cool too, about 20min to downtown with the car, the mission district and castro is within walking distance.
My friend and I stayed 2 nights at Thea's house. Thea and her husband are very nice, easy to talk, so do not hesitate to ask if you need help. The house is very typical, pretty big, you can find everything you need (just there is not a microwave). You can park your car easily in the street and it is free. The area is quiet and safe. The closest BART station is 24th Mission, which is about 10mins by car and 20mins by walk. The room is okay. There is a nice backyard, we had breakfast outside one time, which was pleasant.
I would recommand to stay at Thea's house if you want a quiet, nice and typical place to stay.
Yet another great air bnb experience! My husband and I stayed here at the end of a weeklong trip in California and love our time spent here just as much as the rest of our trip. Leading up to our trip I had asked Thea for some help with our brief San Francisco day trip and she was super helpful with making suggestions for places to go, things to do, and where to eat. Whenever I had a question she was very quick to respond. Because of an app glitch they weren't expecting us until a day later but upon our arrival they were so quick to drop everything they were doing, grab us a drink, and make sure our room was all set up. They were super gracious and super flexible! Their cat was the sweetest, the house was beautiful, our bed was very comfortable, and we had an incredible view of their great garden backyard. We felt welcome to use their house as if it were our own and really enjoyed our time here. Also, to note, the location is great with easy parking and walking distance to public transit which will get you all over the city. Can't say enough good things about these hosts! Would definitely stay again! Thank you!
Thea and Carlo have a charming house in a nice neighborhood in San Francisco! The posting is accurate, very clean, and has a lot of space. They were so nice and welcoming, letting us bring in extra belongings and our bikes to keep safe in their house while we stayed with them. Street parking was easy and safe. They allowed us to use their whole home as our own. My husband and I had so much fun exploring SF and Thea's place was the perfect location to get anywhere in the city. There were also a ton of cute restaurants just at the bottom of the street. We had a great time guys, thanks!!
Thea and her husband were amazing hosts! We were very comfortable in their home and they made sure we had everything we needed. The home itself was a great location and near many restaurants and things to do. They were extremely friendly and even invited us to have dinner with them. Thanks for a great place to call home for a few days :)
