This thatched, Cotswold stone house is a short walk from picture-perfect Chipping Campden. The house boasts impressive design features, luxurious furnishings, a home cinema, a cedar sauna and an indoor heated pool. There are 5 stylish bedrooms, one with a freestanding bath looking out over the countryside. Outside, there are 3 terraces, a BBQ area and large landscaped gardens opening onto a rolling meadow. Locally, enjoy excellent walks and Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon.

The space
This impressive Cotswold stone house offers groups of up to ten guests an ideal country retreat within easy walking distance of the picture-perfect town of Chipping Campden.

The house boasts impressive design features, deep soft furnishings and luxurious fabrics, giving it a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. Features such as drench showers, impressively designed bathrooms, stunning original artwork and a baby grand piano ensure this residence offers all the mod cons usually found in a boutique hotel.

Entering the house via a spacious hallway. Head into the living room and enjoy its large log burner, flagstone flooring, sumptuous rugs and baby grand piano (a local pianist is available to book for private performances). The stylish Loxleys oak kitchen is the heart of the house and boasts a large solid-timber table which seats up to 10, ideal for breakfast, lunch or informal suppers. French doors open out onto a large south-facing terrace with seating area and BBQ. For more formal dining, the elegant dining room features a beautiful oval dining table which seats 10. More carefully curated artwork, a luxurious carpet, lamps and chairs complete the indulgent look.

The house also offers a study, home cinema room with surround sound, cedar sauna with rainbow LED lighting and an indoor swim jet heated pool and ample relaxation area, with a small selection of free weights.

Upstairs, there are five, individually designed double bedrooms (four en-suite and two of which can be made up as twins) plus a family bathroom. Hypnos beds with faux suede bases and wall-mounted headboards, TV/DVD players, fitted cupboards and comfy upholstered chairs are a constant theme. In the master suite you'll find a four poster super-king-size bed in oak and an impressive free-standing mineral cast bath in a perfect oval for two, set on a raised platform with magnificent views out over the surrounding countryside. The marble tiled en-suite bathroom has a double drench shower and the generous dressing room has a full wall of faux baby ostrich panelled wardrobes.

The bathrooms are also beautifully designed in an elegant, modern style.

Large landscaped gardens open out onto a rolling meadow, and the upper terrace provides a sunny area with sheltered seating beneath a circular pergola. A terrace adjacent to the kitchen makes the perfect al fresco dining spot with built-in seating, table and a BBQ.
