The house is located in Maiori, a very nice village in the hearth of the Amalfi Coast. It's also a great starting point to visit all the others villages: Amalfi Ravello, Positano. The house is elegantly furnished and is just 1 mn from the beach.

This is a great place to stay! I stayed here with 3 friends for 4 nights and it was such a great place. 2 of us had our own beds in the same room and the other 2 shared a queen sized bed in another room. We could have all had our own beds but we decided not to fold out the pull-out couch. It easily could have accommodated 3 more people if you don't mind sharing beds.
Maiori is a small town but with the SITA buses it's really easy to make day trips all along the Amalfi Coast. Granted, the timing of the buses is a little off sometimes, but as soon as you accept that you might have to wait for half an hour here or there for a bus, it's very easy.
We didn't have any problems with the apartment and never had any concern about saftey or comfort (except that we got a little cold at night with the heaters off, but that was an easy fix). It is really right across the street from the beach and in high season when it's would make for a perfect home base.
They are very accommodating and I have little to no complaints!
We arrived late in the evening, but Giulia's mother welcomed us promptly, with no complaint. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The terrace is great, accesible from every room, even the kitchen, and with a nice sea view. Plus, being located one street back from the main road, it's a very quiet aparment. The only sound you get from your bed at night is the waves of the beach, 50m away from your door.
The hosts also provided a parking space, VERY useful since it's quite difficult to park in Maiori. There's a good supermarket literally around the corner, and an amazing restaurant 10m away from the apartment, perfect for a nice dinner but also with cheap pizza to go.
You'll stay 10m away from where Roberto Rossellini and Anna Magnani did. I would recommend the place to anyone from a couple to a family with two kids.
We have met Ottavio as a trustworthy and friendly person, who responded quickly at the questions asked. The appartment is pretty large and located conveniently near the beach and a supermarket. Maiori is not as touristic as e.g. Amalfi, but this was a plus to us.
The apartment in Maiori was great. The location was perfect. Loved the porch - breakfast, dinner outside people watching and looking at the sea. There was a little problem with the WIFI, but Jiulia tried everything to make it right. I would recommend the apartment to all ages.
We had a nice 7 day stay in Ottavio's apartment in Maiori.
The apartment is well located only one street back from the beach.
The apartment is well fitted out. Ottavio replaced the hot water service quickly when there were issues, but the WiFi remained an issue through our stay. Ottavio kindly offered a rebate for the WiFi issue.
We found the apartment a little dark in the morning, but as the sun came around during the day it brightened up.
We have really enjoyed living in the apartment. It is large, spacious, Giulia was welcomming and helpful.
The terrace is the thing that makes this apartment even better!
The beach is 3 minutes by foot, bus stop and the main street are 100 metres from the apartment.
The only incovenience we had - for 4 days of our vacation WiFi has not been working. It was not a big deal (there is wifi in many places of the village) but still. And this incovenience has been compensated by Giulia and Ottavio.
Also some furniture needs a little bit of upgrade, as it seems for me, but nothing serious.
We spent the last two weeks of August at Ottavio's apartment in Maiori and we had a very good time.
Everything was like described and promised. Ottavio arranged also a cot for our little kid as we requested and there is also the option to use a private parking space right outside the building (really useful during summer!).
The apartment is really close to the sea and to the pedestrian center area of Maiori with all services available, but is not so noisy since it is located in a small lateral street.
Ottavio kindly welcome us and was helpful with his suggestions about bathhouses, restaurants and other facilities in the neighborhood.
In the end we really suggest Maiori and Ottavio's apartment for the families who would like to visit Amalfi coast.
