It's a 1 bedroom, a fully stocked kitchen for cooking, and a deck to relax on. The apartment is on a quiet street, just a 5 minute walk to the Harvard Sq train stop and just a minute away from everything that Harvard Sq has to offer- shops, restaurants, cafes, music, and much more!
There is also a visitor parking permit available, just please let me know ahead of time if you need it.

Interaction with Guests

We try to make ourselves available to guests if they need us for anything!

The Neighborhood

The apartment is in *fantastic* neighborhood right in the vibrant Harvard Square in Cambridge, MA!

Getting Around

Harvard Square: (website hidden)
METERS: There are metered parking spaces (ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours) on the nearby Mt. Auburn St. and Massachusetts Avenue.
GARAGES and PARKING LOTS: There are several garages in the Harvard Square area if you have a car. See: (website hidden) (for example, the Charles Square Garage at One Bennett Street, Cambridge, MA 02138, (email hidden), (phone number hidden), (website hidden) or the Green Street Garage (260 Green Street, seems to be $13/daily).
PRIVATE CAR RENTAL SPACES: There are also several online sites that allow people to rent out their private parking spaces (some kind of seem like the parking version of airbnb!): (website hidden), (website hidden), (website hidden), (website hidden). Some of these sites allow you to park on an hourly, daily, weekly or monthly basis. Look for spots close to 17 or 19 Banks Street Cambridge, MA (and then anywhere you go when traveling by car in Cambridge, Boston, etc.!)
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: We strongly urge you to use the Boston Area's public transportation (the subway is called the "T" :-) ) and the Harvard Square Station is a 7 minute walk away (address: 1400 Chester Square, Cambridge, MA 02138). CAR RENTALS (ZIPCAR): An alternative to having a car full-time during your stay is to rent a car hourly, daily, etc. through (website hidden). Please check their website for details (there are 2 locations for Zipcars at both ends of Banks Street! Please check with them for their availability). Again, please, please, please plan in advance if you have a car. If you do not have a pass and park on the street without a meter it is very likely that you will be ticketed and/or towed shortly after you park there (ticketing in Cambridge is aggressive!)

Other Things to Note

All utilities are included for both long-term & short-term stays!

House Rules

Cleanliness and Tidiness:
You MUST leave the apartment clean and tidy when you check out. Not doing so may unfortunately result in withholding part, or all, of your deposit.

You MUST dispose of things properly. This means separating true trash from things you can recycle. You must do this both in your apartment and especially if you take it out to the large bins outside. The City of Cambridge will fine us if trash and recycling are not placed properly and we will send you this bill if we get it and note this in your guest review. This means:

---> recyclables (paper, plastic, aluminum, glass) must be CLEAN (for example: no plastic containers with food still in it: put the food in the compost (ideal) or trash (not the sink! we may have to charge you if it gets clogged and the plummer comes over. The pipes are fragile. Please only put water in the sink).
--->trash must be in plastic (not paper!) bags and TIED UP TIGHTLY.
Not doing these things may cause the City of Cambridge charge us a fine. If this happens we will give this fine to you and note this in your reviews. We don't mean to be harsh here but we are serious about proper disposal.

Quiet hours:
Starting at 11pm please do not have any loud music, TV playing, etc.

Check-in = no earlier than 3pm*
Check-Out = no later than noon*

*unless you arrange with us otherwise
